Could the magical artifact Grukkoh stumbled upon be a boon or a burden? It's a lore-friendly balanced ring that gives permanent haste BUT makes you incredibly susceptible to attacks.

For years, an unrelenting rivalry had consumed Grukkoh and Durrak as they vied for the affection of an ogre maiden, Buthir. That is, until fate took a turn and Grukkoh met a silver-tongued merchant who procurred the "ring of everlasting vigor" with a promise of guaranteed victory in the realm of love. Ingeniously, Grukkoh administered a drow sleeping draught into Durrak's ale, paving the way for his fateful encounter with Buthir. Donning his new ring, Grukkoh ventured towards the clandestine rendezvous, his senses heightened as the sweet aroma of roasted meat wafted through the air, further invigorating his senses. His pace was unusually quick, driven by newfound confidence that coursed from the ring, ultimately enabling him to capture Buthir's heart. Yet, the capricious nature of goblin booyagh held an inevitable truth—its gifts are not without a price, and Grukkoh found himself learning this sobering lesson at precisely the moment when he was most vulnerable.
It's a ring that gives haste permanently but makes you incredibly weak to damage. You can find it on Grukkoh after you defeat him (bugbear + ogre scene) Recommended for a new game, but he should still drop it if you haven't defeated him already. The encounter itself has been altered to accommodate the ring's effect, Buthir's health is slightly buffed (+33%) and Grukkoh is under the ring's effect, these changes will not update on an existing game.
The ring was a concept that I ended up liking a lot and wanted a lore friendly way to implement it without just shoving it on a vendor or in a random container. It's especially good for something like a tempest cleric, haste is a godsend to casters who typically fall behind martial classes with extra attack, and they can use sanctuary to negate some of the vulnerability effects of the ring.
