About this mod

Adds a pair of boots that summons Wall of Fire upon moving. Also provides an enchantment option to add the effects to any existing boot (both vanilla and modded boots).

Surging Fire 
Type: Status
Maximum Stacks: 3
Duration: Depletes 1 stack at the end of turn if a Living Flames spell is not used.
Consumed by Surge of Living Flames

Acquired from using Inferno Blink, Fireball Adaptation, or Fireball Adaptation (Enhanced)

Burns enemies that are damaged by your attacks and spells.
Determines the starting Intensity of Wall of Living Flames.
Multiplies the damage of Surge of Living Flame's second damage pulse. 

Remaining turns depicted by traditional status icon and visual effect indicator (orange orbs swirling around caster's body)




Living Flames
Type: Toggleable Passive

Activated by Surge of Living Flames
Triggers only on non-fire surfaces

Creates a Wall of Living Flames each step you take. Works with Fly/Levitate.




Wall of Living Flames
Type: Wall
Lasts 2 turns
Range of Effect: 3 meters

Functions similar to vanilla Wall of Fire with the following changes:

Ignores Resistance and Immunity to Fire damage.
Applies the following status debuffs: Burning, Scorched, and Heat Metal.

Deals 12 Fire damage per turn of Intensity upon contact and an additional 5 Fire damage per turn of Intensity if the affected entity ends its turn within 3 meters. 

Starting Intensity is based on caster's level of Surging Fire at the time of summon and increases each time a Wall of Living Flames deals damage. 




Intensity
Type: Status

Applies only to Wall of Living Flames.

Each turn multiplies the damage from Wall of Living Flames. Increases by one turn each time a Wall of Living Flames deals damage.

Modifiable by Surge of Living Flames - Bulwark



Scorched
Type: Status

Afflicted entity is Vulnerable to Fire damage and resistant to Cold damage. 




Surge of Living Flames
Type: Shout Spell
Spellcost: 1 Bonus Action Point 
! Requires at least 1 turn of Surging Fire !



Consumes Surging Fire.

Activates Living Flames (requires moving 1 step) for the current turn.

Deals two pulses of 2d6 Fire damage each. 

The first pulse Scorches everything within 3 meters and applies the following buffs based on the amount of Surging Fire consumed:

1 Turn of Surging Fire: Bulwark (Surge of Living Flames - Bulwark)

2 Turns of Surging Fire: Fervor (Surge of Living Flames - Fervor)
Recovers 1 Living Flame Charge

3 Turns of Surging Fire: Absorption (Surge of Living Flames - Absorption)
Recovers 2 Living Flame Charges

The second pulse Burns everything within 5 meters and its damage is multiplied per turn of Surging Fire the caster has accumulated since the last short rest.



Surge of Living Flames - Bulwark

Type: Status
Duration: Amount of Surging Fire consumed at the time of Surge of Living Flames' cast

The affected entity is now Immune to Fire damage.

Each turn adds to the starting Intensity of Wall of Living Flames.

Unlocks Inferno Shockwave.


Surge of Living Flames - Fervor

Type: Status
Duration: Amount of Surging Fire consumed at the time of Surge of Living Flames' cast

You deal bonus 1 Fire damage per remaining turn of Fervor

Fire damage that you deal now ignores Resistance and Immunity..

Fireball Adaptation becomes Fireball Adaptation (Enhanced).


Surge of Living Flames - Absorption

Type: Status
Duration: Amount of Surging Fire consumed at the time of Surge of Living Flames' cast

You heal for 6 hit points per remaining turn of Absorption each time you deal Fire damage

Wall of Living Flames now heals you for 6 hit points upon contact and also heals 6 hit points when you end your turn within 3 meters.



Inferno Shockwave

Type: Toggleable Passive

Unlocked by Bulwark.

Your jumps now deal 1d4 Fire damage in a 4 meter radius and create a Wall of Living Flames upon impact.


Inferno Strider

Type: Status

Increases Movement Speed by 3 meters.


Adaptive Movement - Fire

Type: Status

Your Movement Speed can't be reduced by Difficult Terrain, spells, or magical effects. Can't be Paralyzed, Restrained, or fall Prone.


Inferno Protection

Type: Passive

You are Resistant to Fire damage and Immune to Burning and Scorched.

Fireball Adaptation

Type: Rush
Spellcost: 1 Action Point and 1 Living Flame Charge

Charge forward and become a Fireball that explodes upon contact, dealing 8d6 Fire damage to everything within 5 meters. 


Fireball Adaptation (Enhanced)

Type: Projectile
Spellcost: 1 Action Point and 1 Living Flame Charge

Unlocked by Fervor.

Transform into a Fireball that explodes upon contact, dealing 8d6 Fire damage to everything within 5 meters. 




Inferno Blink

Type: Projectile
Spellcost: 1 Action Point and 1 Living Flame Charge

Teleport to target location, dealing 2d6 Fire damage in a cone 2 meters in front of you and leaving a Wall of Living Flames behind you.


Set the World on Fire
Type: Target Spell
Spellcost: 1 Action Point 
! Requires at least 2 turns of Surging Fire !

Throw a Living Flame on target. Living Flames will spread to nearby items and creatures within 3 meters.

THIS SPELL IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE IN COMBAT DUE ITS SPREAD EFFECT.
