Update for Patch 8 Hotfix 32 is now available! v3.1 brings back the direct connection code, Larian for whatever reason disabled it in crossplay lobbies with hotfix 32.
Know bugs for Patch 8: - Honor mode is causing issues in a fresh lobby with more than 4 players. So launch it with 4 or less players and invite the rest once you are fully ingame. - Windows defender or other antivirus programs might flag the MP patch for some reason, just allow it patch your game and move on. Nexusmods scans every upload so it is safe to use.
Common fixes and workarounds are: - Deleting your .exe files and letting steam verify the game (reapply the MP patch if needed) - Deleting everything but PlayerProfiles in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3
We also have Discord Server if you need more help or just want a place to hangout. Given the amount of mods I've created so far I figured it would be nice to have everything in one place.
I'm having an issue with this mod, It took me a while to narrow it down to this one cause I have used this mod for a long time and this is the first time I've had issues. My game will be fine until i get past Rolan and his siblings in the grove then it will start randomly crashing. Sometimes when talking to Wyll, sometimes when talking to Zorru. Sometimes I'll get some time between crashes and other times it will happen constantly. This is on a single player game as well. Even if I have it installed but not active it happens. Also the patch 8 version does weird things in camp. If I'm talking to Shadowheart Gale always pops up next to me, stays a bit then walks back to his tent and does it over and over but Shadowheart does the same thing when talking to Gale. In act 3 they all did it. It stopped when I deleted the mod and it stopped crashing.
Hi, my friends and I have been trying to run a game with the 6 of us. I am hosting the standalone version and the multiplayer add on (did everything the files asked, including dropping the bg3_dx11.exe file to the PartyLimitBegonePatcher.bat file to back it up) The mod worked (showed 8 player slots) but when the 5th person tried to join it kept saying for that friend that the "lobby was full" and couldn't join. We essentially spent the night trying to troubleshoot and fix it but we had no luck, including having different people try to host but no luck there either, as well as trying to run through the tutorial to get a party member and let them go to camp so the limit would reset but nothing would work. We were trying to start fresh on a new game btw. At this point not too sure what to do. The multiplayer part of the mod just doesn't seem to work.
We essentially did the same thing. Multiple hours of troubleshooting to no avail. It shows the 8 slots and we've gotten 4 players in, but cannot get the fifth. Please help <3
Having the exact same issue right now. Has anyone figured out a resolution? It shows that we can have 8 player slots but as soon as I try to have a fifth person join the group, they say it's full. We've done everything, exactly like you. Anyone find anything that works?
Our party seems to be having the same issue. Anyone after 4 trying to join will be rejected. Using standalone also. Shows 8 slots. Something has to be broken right?
So I added this mod back in 2023, loved it, the video made it easy to understand how to install it as I have never used mods before. But I had to uninstall the entire game for reasons. So I decided to redownload the game, and download this mod again, but when I go to download it, it tells me I need to also download some mod manager thing to make it work? The video hasn't updated to say what to do with this mod manager thing, so is it necessary or can I just follow the old video again?
Literally all I want is to increase my party size, so don't really want to add more than I have to the files for fear of messing it up.
Tried the "Delete everything but PlayerProfiles in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3" troubleshooting. Lost all my mods and can't load any of my saves haha it's probably my own fault, maybe deleting the mods folder too was the issue, but I took your troubleshooting advice literally. Oh well. I'll start over.
Hi, I have 6 group members. Jaheira is my Cleric. But she is not registered as an ally, so she can't use group heals and she is also hit by the AOEs from my mage. why?
Known old bug. Not this mod's fault. Happens if you recruit Jaheira in act 2 and add her to party before act 3.
