About this mod
Origin Unlocker for all Origin Characters, allows modifying their class too. And also adds Fireball as a Level 1 warlock spell, works for custom not just Origin Characters (I am not liable for whatever mischief your warlock and their fireball get up to). Thanks to u/Synyster328 on reddit for the nifty how-to post.

Was interested in modding BG3 and found an incredibly helpful reddit post by u/Synyster328 with an easy to digest/read how-to guide.

Should be future proof until Larian messes with anything in the original files modified.
What it do?:
-The mod adds Fireball to the warlock spell list as a level 1 spell.
-Allows you to select Origin Characters at CC Screen, also allows you to select a class for them. (what that does in-game storywise for the characters I haven't a clue, saw some code while following along and started flippin' some false s to true s. Startup works, haven't tested far enough to where character development happens.)
Install:
Manual-
Just unzip the file and copy/paste the gustav.pak and shared.pak into (what will likely be) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data
NOTE THIS WILL REPLACE YOU CURRENT gustav.pak AND shared.pak SO MAKE A BCAKUP FOLDER IN THE DATA FOLDER AND PLACE THOSE ORIGINAL FILES IN THERE!!!!! ALSO THIS WILL BE HOW WE UNINSTALL THE MOD TOO!!!
Vortex and other MMs-
Not a clue if they work, whenever I've made a MOD I kinda cross my fingers it happens to be ok to install with a MM. Just follow the above warning and make a backup just in case.
Uninstall:
Plan A - Just copy the gustav.pak and shared.pak files you put in that nifty backup folder yuh made and paste them into the /data folder, say yes to replacing exsisting files (as those are the modded ones) and BAM! Your game should be as good as new.
Plan B - Uninstall and reInstall BG3, it should make new files and replace the modded ones. Long process, but works 99.9999999999999% of the time. (I'm not liable for the .0000000000001% of the time it doesn't work)
Conflicts:
Any mod that replaces the modded files probably, that makes sense to me.
