I believe the simplest solution to get this mod to work is to first download and install Dialogue Voice Quality Restoration (DVQR), which reverts the audio format back to the way it was before patch 6. Aside from a slight increase in audio quality, you can now install and use mods like this one without issue again.

Mind you, any mod you may have installed that uses the new audio format will need a rollback to a pre-patch 6 version in order to work.

Just throwing that out there. :)

Thank you for this tip, I confirm this works with DVQR for those wondering. Helped to make a convincing Orc. :)

! FOR THOSE OF YOU TRYING TO GET THIS MOD TO WORK:The mod itself is still broken, but in another of Daraki's voice mods that has the same issue, user WarmHealer has helpfully laid out a rough tutorial on how to get the files working. The same principle they outlined for the other voice mod works for this set. It is a bit tedious but I just tried it and it's all working :) https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2905?tab=posts

I wish someone would make a Doug Cockle (who voices Bhaal and Geralt from Witcher) mod for Tav and Durge. I think it would be cool to have Durge sound like Bhaal.

I've spent almost an hour trying to make this mod work. For some reason it either ends up being the basic voice or no voice at all. I've tried with Vortex and manual, none of them work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I put the files in "F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Mods\Gustav\Localization\English\Soundbanks", yet I still hear nothing no matter what. Finally, I tried with Tav voice 1 and I get the same issue. What am I doing wrong?
    1. This mod doesn't work as of patch 6. Your not doing anything wrong.

Missing my deep voiced boys, didn't realize how essential it is until it was gone :( Does anyone know if this is going to be a persistent issue going forward? Just need to know how I can go about removing the override if necessary.
  8. Hey, just wanted to let the mod author (and anyone else) that as of patch 6. this mod and Deeper voice for Tav 1 doesn't work. The voices are all muted. I'm not complaining I'm just letting the people know.

Did you switch back?  Or, are we waiting on an update? :)  LOVE both of these mods!
    3. Yeah I switched back, but I had to reinstall to do it.

It might help of OP was more specific as to where the file(s) should be put. The way they put it is the equivalent of vaguely gesturing in a direction.

At a certain point, I can only hold people's hands so much. As I said, your main Baldur's Gate folder that contains Data, Bin, etc.

No but it wouldn't kill you to leave a file path instead of a vague sentence.
