- Permissions and credits
Have you ever wished for a place to truly call your own in the vast world of Baldur's Gate 3? A quiet room in the city, a secluded grove, or perhaps even a familiar treehouse? The nomadic lifestyle is exciting, but sometimes you just want a place to display your treasures, organize your gear, and rest your head without the whole camp watching. This mod introduces two new NPCs to the world who will help you find and furnish your perfect abode. With 8 unique properties now available there's a home for every type of Tav. Once you've purchased a property, it's time to make it your own! The Decorator vendor offers a wide selection of clutter to turn your empty house into a home.Furthermore, to ensure maximum compatibility with the wonderful world of BG3 modding, we've included The Realtor Chest. This special container holds a copy of the Tutorial Chest's inventory, ensuring that items from other mods you use are not lost and can be easily retrieved to decorate your new homes. This is a perfect combo with mods like ASE Glamping. Settle down, get decorating, and give your hero the home they deserve and The Realtor mod will make sure your customized area stays exactly the way you left it throughout your entire gameplay!
UPDATE: The initial download saw complaints about not seeing The Decorator, this is now resolved.
*If you already had Treehome and install THE REALTOR, you may have issues. While I may eventually find a fix for this, I recommend swapping to THE REALTOR as it has a better version of Treehome in it anyway.

Features
- 8 Unique, Lore-Friendly Player Homes: Discover and purchase eight distinct properties scattered across the world, each with its own unique feel and location.
- The Realtor NPC: Find this interesting new character to browse his keys available for sale. Keys will go to your keyring and allow Fast Travel to your property.
- The Decorator NPC: An eccentric new character who may or may not enjoy his job selling home decor items at the behest of The Realtor.
- Updated & Integrated Treehome: For fans of my original mod, the Treehome is back and better than ever! It is now seamlessly integrated into this larger housing system.
- The Realtor Chest (Tutorial Chest Mirror): Located near the new vendors, this chest contains a mirrored inventory of the Tutorial Chest. This is a crucial compatibility feature for players using other mods that add items (especially decoration items) to the start of the game.
- Installation: Install this mod using the BG3 Mod Manager. This mod requires the Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender.
- Vendor Access Key: Check your keyring for the Vendor Access Key that will take you to The Realtor's Realm.
- Buy a Key: Speak to The Realtor to see which properties are available. Purchase the key for the area you desire.
- Travel to Your New Space: Check your keyring for your new key. Right click it and click Teleport.
- Start Decorating: Visit The Decorator to browse their catalogue of fine furnishings. Buy what you like and head home to place your new items.
- (For Mod Users): Don't forget to check The Realtor Chest next to the vendors to collect any items added by other mods to the tutorial chest!
Here is a list of the currently available properties you can purchase:
- Treehome
- The Barracks
- The Chapel
- Neptune's Retreat
- Lamp of Luxury
- House Seria
- Red Manor
- Opulent Studio
Q: Why do the properties cost gold
A: RP and Immersion of course! I wanted to feel like I added an in-game housing feature. It's easy to get a gold or item mod and get your keys that way if you don't want to play legit.
Q: How do I get back after using a key?
A: Just Fast Travel out. There is no return to exactly where you teleported from.
Future Plans / To-Do List
- Adding even more unique homes in different locations. So far everything has been copies of in game areas, but I'd like to actually design some from scratch!
- Expanding The Decorator's inventory with more furniture sets and interactive items, or maybe just partnering with other mod creators.
- Adding small quests related to acquiring certain high-end properties.
- Expanding dialogue and lore behind The Realtor and The Decorator.
