Mechanical Details:
This mod converts all staves from versatile weapons that do 1d6/8, to two-handed weapons that do 1d6 and have 2-3 AC. Only Very Rare and Legendary shields have 3 AC, the rest have 2 AC. No other changes are made.
Known Issues:
- Monks don't work well with two-handed staves.
- Not verified, but if there are any NPCs that have a staff and shield equipped, their animations will probably break.

How do I install this?
Idk set up vortex and press the download button. Yes, it works on the current version of the game, and it's easier than the other mod managers.
Can I install this mid-playthrough?
Yes, if any characters have a staff and off-hand equipped though, you'll need to unequip and reequip the staff. Don't worry, the shield will drop back in your inventory when you equip the staff again.
Can I uninstall this mid-playthrough?
Yes.
How does this affect the balance of the game?
Using this is slightly weaker than using a staff and a shield, as you will be potentially missing out on shield based skills, passives, and spells. The difference is minor though, as I personally rarely use those, and I would rather slightly gimp myself, than make the game any easier.
