A simple update to Ambaryerno's mod that grants the Finesse property to Longswords when wielded in two hands, now working in Patch 8 and also applies to Spears, Tridents, and Quarterstaffs. Highly recommend using this together with More Fighting Styles for its Versatile Fighting feature.
A simple mod that grants the Finesse property to longswords when wielded in two hands. Install with Mod Manager. Once in the game, all you need to do is equip a longsword. So long as you don't have a shield or off-hand weapon equipped, it will automatically add the Finesse property. If a shield or off-hand weapon is equipped, the property will automatically be removed. This should work with any longsword already in the game, and any custom weapons that use the basic longsword for reference.
This mod overwrites the WPN_Longsword entry in the Weapons.txt file, so may conflict with other mods that modify the same entry and file.
