Edits the starting armors, they will now look different on Githyankis while retaining the same appearance for the other races.
Do you hate that when making a githyanki Tav they are cosplaying as a good little Baldurian ? Shouldn't have they been wearing something like Lae'zel when they were captured ?
well I do.
so I fixed it for myself and I'm sharing the result here for those who were bothered by it too.
this mod gives the Githyankis their own unique versions of the starting armors, while leaving the ones of the other races untouched.
it also does the same thing with the camp outfit.
it's entirely made with vanilla game assets ( i didn't want to put too much work into this lmao, so no blender and no texturing ) so my choices for parts were very limited and it kind of shows, the armors are very simple.
WHERE TO FIND THEM: On your character, in CC ! they are nowhere else in the game. And obviously they will ONLY show up and be equiped on a new game !

- use the BG3 Mod manager ! ( download latest release here )
- unzip and drop the 'Immersive_starting_armor.pak' file in your Baldur's gate 3 'mods' folder (Users\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
- Install with the BG3 mod manager
- DO NOT uninstall mid-playthrough ,
since patch 5 saves with missing mods will become unplayable anyway, but even without this

- Semi-compatible with mods that changes the starting armors: it will override or get overriden by mods changing the same class outfits, BUT it won't break and with a good load order you can have one or more starting armor edits mod cohabiting ( ex: i have this mod + a personal one that edits the Cleric and dream guardian starting gear at the same time, with the cleric one overriding this one, so all the classes have the new githyankis fits with the exeption of the cleric class, and the dream guardian is edited as intended by my perso mod.)

- Some of the color schemes really don't fit the new Githyankis armors i guess that's just how it is, I didn't want to change the colors of the vanilla armors for the other races, maybe i will in the future but for now guess i'll just have to make a beeline to the first dye i can find.
