I've always taken issue with how Sacred Flame functions, namely how it nearly always misses in early game and just seems lackluster compared to other cantrips. This mod is my attempt to remedy Sacred Flame in a fashion that I prefer.
--------- Changes ---------
Sacred Flame is now an attack roll rather than a dex save. Essentially you can now actually hit stuff with it. Sacred Flame now costs a bonus action rather than an action. Sacred Flame's damage scaling is reduced from a d8 cantrip to a d4 cantrip (it still scales with character level)
With these changes, Sacred Flame is now something you might make use of for some extra damage when you have a bonus action to burn. This also avoids buffing the numbers to just have it be a reskinned firebolt or eldritch blast, which I don't find to be an interesting approach for cantrips.
