In Home Brew, The Duellist passive only benefits versatile weapons. When playing as a Fighter, I noticed that none of the improved techniques apply to one-handed weapons. So I changed the passive to suit fighters who want, well, duel using only one-handed.
The new passive is very like the Duelling Fighting Style from Vanilla game:
Duellist: Gain a +2 bonus to melee based Attack Rolls while wielding a melee weapon that is not Two-Handed in main hand and no weapon in off-Hand. You can carry a shield and still gain this bonus.
