The base version of this mod halves the XP requirements for all levels, up to level 12. The custom XP curve zip contains a simple GUI app to set your own level requirements.
The other mod I use wasn't compatible with Vortex, so I created this one. Sometimes I play solo, sometimes with a friend. I wanted a Double XP mod for when I play solo, but I didn't want to have to keep deleting and reinstalling files. Now I can make profiles in Vortex to switch between mods effortlessly.
Installation
Install via Vortex, and install as a "replacer".
If you want to have custom XP requirements, but still have it managed by Vortex, then you should install the Double XP version, and then use the curve editor GUI app. You can then enable/disable from Vortex.
If you want to install manually, extract the Data folder to X:\bg3 install path\Baulders Gate 3\
Usage
Just download the EXE, open it. You can manually type in level requirements for each level, or you can use the slider under the table for a quick XP multiplier.
The table shows how much XP each level will take to progress to the next one.
If you're using a level 20 mod then you would select the "Show level 20" checkbox and then type in the mod's name. For example if you're using the UnlockLevelCurve mod then you would type UnlockLevelCurve. To find out your mod's name you can open vortex, right click the mod, then click "Open in File Manager". You'll see the .pak file for that mod. That's the name you need to enter into the "Mod Name" box.
You can simply use the slider to apply a modifier or you can type in XP requirements for each level. Tooltips exist throughout the app to help you understand the various controls.
Uninstallation
You can just use the "Remove Mod" button in the app and it will remove the mod from your game.
To uninstall manually, simply delete the following files
X:\path to bg3\Baulders Gate 3\Data\Public\Shared\Stats\Generated\Data\XPData.txt
X:\path to bg3\Baulders Gate 3\Data\Public\SharedDev\Stats\Generated\Data\XPData.txt
And if you're using a level 20 mod then you'll need to delete this file:
X:\path to bg3\Baulders Gate 3\Data\Public\MOD_NAME_HERE\Stats\Generated\Data\XPData.txt
I have tested this mod with the UnlockLevelCurve mod, but should work with any level 20 mod.
