Overview:

a simple tool designed to translate localization XML files for Baldur's Gate 3.

How To Use:

  •     Extract the .zip file and place the application in your desired location.
  •     Launch the executable.

Features:

  • Translation Saving: The tool saves translations to a master dictionary file (dict.yml) in the same directory as the exe file on pressing "save translation" button. This allows for automatic translation of identical text with the same UUID in future files.
  • Translation Import/Export: Easily import and export your translation dictionaries.
  • Lightweight and Dependency-Free: Built with Tauri and React, this application is lightweight and requires no external libraries. It runs smoothly on the latest Windows 10/11 systems.

Keyboard Shortcuts:

  • Ctrl + S: Save the master dictionary file.
  • Ctrl + Alt + S: Save the current XML file.
  • Ctrl + Alt + I: Import dictionary data.
  • Ctrl + Alt + E: Export dictionary data.
  • Ctrl + Alt + L: load translation from other translated .xml file.
  • Ctrl + W: close xml file."
