About this mod

This is a homebrew subclass I made heavily inspired by the Vestal from Darkest Dungeon 2. Morphed into Light Domain + Life Domain + Vestal. Enjoy!

Cleric Level 1: Burning Hands, Healing Word

Level 1.

Proficiency with Heavy Armor and Martial Weapons.

Judgement: You learn the Sacred Flame Cantrip, but you can choose two targets instead of one. At Level 5, you can choose three targets, and at Level 10, you can choose four targets. Sacred Flame is still ass, but I think this helps a little.

Conviction: Once per turn when you damage an enemy with a spell or attack, they must succeed on a Dexterity Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC or receive the Burning Condition for one turn. Starting at Level 6, the Burning Condition increases to two turns and your attacks deal additional Fire Damage equal to your Wisdom Modifier once per turn.



Level 2.

Consecration of Light: Expend a Bonus Action and Channel Divinity charge to allow an ally to bask in your Conviction. Once per turn when they damage an enemy with a spell or attack, the enemy must succeed on a DC13 Dexterity Saving Throw or receive the Burning Condition for one turn. Starting at Level 6, the DC increases to 15, the Burning Condition increases to two turns, and their attacks deal additional Fire Damage equal to your Wisdom Modifier once per turn.

Consecration of Fortitude: Expend a Bonus Action and Channel Divinity charge to allow an ally to bask in your Conviction. They gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class and their Maximum Hit Points increase by five. Starting at Level 6, the bonus increases to +2, and their Maximum Hit Points increase by 10.

*You can apply both Consecrations to one ally once you have two Channel Divinity Charges.



Level 6.

Conviction and Consecrations both improve as described above.

Divine Grace: Once per turn when casting a healing spell of 1st Level or higher, both the target and you heal for an additional 1d4+Your Wisdom Modifier at the beginning of your next turns.


Level 8.


Cleansing Flames: Your spells and attacks ignore resistance and immunity to Fire Damage. Additionally, you have resistance to Fire Damage.
