About this mod

This mod adjusts buff spells, mostly those that you would find yourself using out of combat anyways, or daily. More adjustments will be made in the future.

Patch #7/HF 29 Compatible.

I dislike how restrictive buffing was in BG3 so I started changing things for more QOL. Spells changed to Cantrip (TEMPORARY) so that they're always prepared, If the spell doesn't have AOE, I give it to it. If the range is weak, I expand it. If it didn't already have a Ritual version of the spell, I added it. If it didn't last until long rest, I added it. I'll be adding to this mod over time.


What it changes:
  • Speak with Animals: Now affects an area (AOE) and is always prepared.
  • Speak with Dead: Now always prepared.
  • Detect Thoughts: Removed Concentration, added Ritual, and is always prepared.
  • See Invisibility: Added Ritual and is always prepared.
  • Invisibility: Now affects an area (AOE), removed Concentration, added Ritual, and is always prepared.
  • Greater Invisibility: Now affects an area (AOE), removed Concentration, added Ritual, and is always prepared.
  • Comprehend Languages: Added Ritual and is always prepared. (This is hidden for you most likely, but I've enabled it in my own game.)
  • Enhance Leap: Now affects an area (AOE), added Ritual, removed visual and sound effects (VFX/SFX), and is always prepared.
  • Longstrider: Now affects an area (AOE), added Ritual, removed VFX/SFX, and is always prepared.
  • Feather Fall: Now affects an area (AOE), added Ritual, lasts until Long Rest, removed VFX/SFX, and is always prepared.
  • Grant Flight: Now affects an area (AOE), added Ritual, lasts until Long Rest, removed VFX/SFX, and is always prepared.
  • Freedom of Movement: Now affects an area (AOE), added Ritual, removed VFX/SFX, and is always prepared.
  • Create or Destroy Water: Increased size, added Ritual, and is always prepared.
  • Knock - Added Ritual, Range, and Always Prepared.
  • Barkskin - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed VFX/SFX, and Always Prepared.
  • Mage Armor - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed VFX, and Always Prepared.
  • Armor of Agathys - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed VFX/SFX, and Always Prepared.
  • Protection from Evil and Good - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed Concentration, Removed VFX, and Always Prepared.
  • Protection from Poison - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed VFX, and Always Prepared.
  • Protection from Energy - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed VFX, and Always Prepared.
  • Enhance Ability - Added Ritual, AOE, and Always Prepared.
  • Gaseous Form - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed Concentration, Removed SFX, and Always Prepared.
  • Stoneskin - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed Concentration, and Always Prepared.
  • Shield of Faith - Added Ritual, AOE, Removed Concentration, and Always Prepared.
  • Heroes Feast - Added Ritual and Always Prepared.
  • Daylight - Added Ritual, Increased Range, and Always Prepared.
  • Revivify - Added Ritual, Increased Range, and Always Prepared.
  • Remove Curse - Added Ritual, AOE, and Always Prepared
  • Bless - Added Ritual, AOE, Increased Range, Removed Concentration, Removed VFX/SFX, Long Rest, and Always Prepared.

Installation:
Install with BG3 Mod Manager like you would with any BG3 mod.

Compatibility:
Might Not Compatible with mods that alter the base game versions of listed spells.

Known Issues:
Currently Invisibility and See Invisibility have to be "prepared' although they don't take a spell memory slot, I'm honestly not sure what's causing this. I've read over the code several times, and I don't see what it could be.
