About this mod

The Unshackled, raised in one of magic-forbidden country's lesser quarters, is a power wizard with a great command of thunder and lightning. He lives as a hardened revolutionary, using the magic of those around him to destroy the kingdom he once served… and his band of outcast mage followers seems to grow by the day.

Raised in one of  magic-forbidden country's lesser quarters, The Unshackled has come to symbolize the darker side of the Great City. As a boy, his ability to root out hidden sorcery caught the attention of the notorious mages-seekers, who eventually imprisoned him for turning those same powers against them. Having now broken free, The Unshackled lives as a hardened revolutionary, using the magic of those around him to destroy the kingdom he once served… and his band of outcast mage followers seems to grow by the day.

The great mage rebellion starts now!


Level 1:
  • Passives:
1.Source Drain: After killing an enemy, the Liberator restores spell slots equivalent to the spell level of the skill used to kill the enemy.



2. Innate Mage: After reachinglevel 5, the Liberator can Enhance their unique skills by gaining Charged Lightning. Upon reaching level 10, spell power further increases.



3. Magical Body: When unarmed with armor, modify Intelligence bonus on AC. 

4. Heart Of The Storm Resistance: Gain resistance against Lightning and Thunder damage.

  • Spells:
1. Alpha Strike: Teleport to the target, deal damage, and release Chain Lightning.


Enhanced Effect: Release more Chain Lightning.

  • Actions:
1. Haymaker: deal damage, force enemy back, create explosion if making the target receive fall damage.


Enhanced Effect: Accumulate half of the damage taken this turn to empower Haymaker.

Level 2:
  • Passives:
1.Massive Thunder: Gain 1 Charged Lightning per attack.

2. Blood of Lightning: When dealing damage with Spells or Cantrips, gain 2 Charged Lightning.



  • Spells:
So... who wants to kill the king?


1. King Slayer:
 Melee Attack, deal Lightning damage to the enemy with weapons and has a chance to recover health for yourself.


Also available as an interrupt.

Enhanced Effect: Deals extra damage when the target's current HP is below half, and restores extra HP when your HP is below half.

  • Cantrips:
1. Wet Enchantment: Enchant the main and off-hand weapons, turning them into magical weapons and adding the intelligence modifier to weapon attack rolls. Weapon attacks also deal damage, make enemies wet, and increase attack range by 45%.

Level 3:
  • Passives:
1.Thunder Lord: Lightning Spells and Cantrips deal more damage.

2.Magic Waves Of Chaos: Unstable magic flow through The Unshackled's body, enhancing its DC and SpellAttackRoll by 3, while triggering random wild magic on casting spell.

3. Charged Lightning Enhance: With Charged Lightning, enhance attack damage.



  • Spells:
What's yours is mine!

1. Hijack: Steal a temporary skill that overcomes the target.



Enhanced Effect: steal the target's Intelligence as well.

2. Mystery Magic: Trigger random wild magic.

Enhanced Effect: Increase the amount of targets by two.

Level 4:
  • Passives:
1.Ascendant: The Unshackled realizes the truth behind magic, employing it to enhance itself. The Unshackled can enhance its spells with 5 stack of Charged Lightning.


  • Spells:
How beautiful a world is without walls!


1. Abscond / Abduct: Teleport to a position or swap the position between the unshackled and target.




2. Death From Below: Jump to the target area, deal damage to all enemies in the area.



Enhanced Effect: Deal more damage and expand the range, and enable reusing this skill when killing enemies with this spell.

Level 5:
  • Passives:

1. Petricite Burst: Casting any spell grants a free attack, and the next attack deals area damage.



Level 6:
  • Passives:
1.Intelligent Fists: Enhance weapon attack and unarmed attack by Intelligence modifier.



2.Magic Armor: Gain 1 AC and bonus on SavingThrow when with charged Lightning.




  • Spells:


1.Feast: Deal damage based on the enemy's maximum HP. Killing an enemy with this skill increases size and max HP until the next long rest.



Enhanced Effect: Deals more damage and executes targets with less than 10% HP.

2. Manipulate: Manipulate an enemy with spiritual power.



Enhanced Effect: Increase the amount of targets by two.

Level 7:
  • Passives:
1.Lightning Absorption: when receive Lightning damage, heal yourself instead of being damaged.

2.Supreme Magical Body: Bonus DC and SpellAttackRoll by Intelligence modifier.




  • Spells:

1.The Show Stopper: Grab the enemy and slam them into an area, dealing damage based on the enemy's maximum HP and causing area damage at the impact location. Knocks down all enemies in the area.




  • Actions:
1. Blood Sacrifice Thunder Cauldron: Deal damage to yourself and cause a bleeding effect for three turns, while gaining three stacks of Charged Lightning.


Level 8:
  • Passives:
1.Thunderbolt Strike: Force enemies back when dealing Lightning and Thunder damage.

  • Spells:

1.Storm Gathering: Gain a paralyzed effect for two turns and temporary health, charge for one turn, then unleash a Thunder Prison in the next turn. Strikes everyone not under cover on the screen, dealing damage, knocking back, and stunning everyone.



2.Hallowed Mist: Summon mist that protects everything inside from damage outside of it.




  • Actions:

1.Last Breath: When an enemy casts spells, teleport to the enemy and deal damage with weapons, available as an interrupt.




Level 9:
  • Passives:
1.MAG_ChargedLightning_UnarmedAttackAdvantage_Passive

  • Spells:

1.Chain Lightning.

Enhanced Effect: Increase the amount of targets by 1.
Level 10:
  • Passives:
1.Magic By My Side: Enhance magic power to great extend. Bonus DC, SpellAttackRoll and AttackRoll by Intelligence modifier.


Level 11:
  • Passives:
1.MAG_OfArcanicDefense_Robe_Passive.

Level 12:
  • Passives:
1.Savant: Reduces the critical threshold by 2 and gains a stack of Charged Lightning upon critical hit..
