About this mod

I created this homebrew subclass because I wanted to create a subclass centered around the Steel Watch giant crossbow because it's so cool looking. All the abilities center around wielding the crossbow, so if you're not interested in wielding it, I don't recommend using this subclass.

Summon Ballista
***You need at least 10 STR to equip the Ballista***
Damage: 3d4 + Dexterity Modifier
Range: 18m
Passives:
Crossbow Expert Feat. 
Armor Piercing Rounds
  • Once per turn, when you hit a target with your ballista, it reduces their armor class by 1 until the beginning of their next turn.

Braced

  • Your movement speed decreases by 3m. You're wielding a giant ballista, so you can't move as far. Roll ranged damage twice and use the highest result. On the image of the weapon, you'll see Damage +11. This just means that you'll reroll anything less than an 11.

  • This weapon is magically enchanted. You gain +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Titan Weapon
  • Add your strength modifier to damage dealt with this weapon.

Armor Piercing Rounds

  • Once per turn, when you hit a target with your ballista, it reduces their armor class by 2 until the beginning of their next turn.
Grappling Hook - Pull
  • Cost: Bonus Action
  • Range: 9m
  • Save: Dexterity
  • Damage: 1d4
  • Failed save - Target pulled 4.5m towards you


Grappling Hook - Propel
  • Cost: Bonus Action and Movement
  • Range 9m
  • Move up to a maximum of 9m without provoking attacks of opportunity

Summon Ballista
Damage: 3d4+Dexterity Modifier
Range: 18m
Passives:

  • This weapon is magically enchanted. You gain +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Armor Piercing Rounds
  • Once per turn, when you hit a target with your ballista, it reduces their armor class by 3 until the beginning of their next turn.

Pushing Attack
  • Hit - Weapon Damage
  • Save - Strength
  • Failed Save - Pushed 4.5m away from you
Explosive Rounds
  • Four explosive charges per long rest
  • Hit - Weapon Damage + 2d6 force damage + push 4.5m
  • Save - Dexterity
  • Failed Save - Prone
  • Miss - (2d6)/2 damage
  • Cost: 1 Explosive Charge
