About this mod

Hailing from the icy spires of the aura mountains these rangers specialize in the use of frost and light to create a unique fighting style that leaves their foes blind to their actions. Fusing ice and light Snowlight rangers are the shining stars of the icy mountains.

Foreword
PLEASE READ: This mod has gone through some playtesting but it's very possible that issues persist. If they do,
please do not hesitate to let me know. This mod REQUIRES ImprovedUI, the Community Library, and the Compatibility Framework. Community Library should be at the very top of your load order, with CF at the very bottom.
Subclass originally created by kingstarman as a D&D Homebrew, I have just adapted it to Baldur's Gate 3. You can view the original subclass HERE.


Subclass Spells
Level 3- Armour of Agathys
Level 5- Blindness
Level 9- Blinding Smite


Snowborne
At 3rd level, you have resistance to cold damage and ignore difficult terrain imposed by ice and snow.
NOTES: At Level 3, you gain resistance to cold damage, as well as immunity to falling prone on ice and some forms of difficult terrain. This was necessary as ice does not have it's own form of difficult terrain like webs, lava, and mud do.

Glaring Frost
Also at 3rd level, when you successfully deal cold or radiant damage to a creature that creature must make a Constitution saving trow against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is blinded until the start of your next turn.

Additionally, when you successfully blind a creature you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
NOTES: The bread and butter of this subclass. Use Cold and Radiant damage to spread blindness. Whenever you blind someone, you gain 3m of movement speed for the turn.
Behind the Sun
At 7th level, while you are within bright light you are considered to be under the effects of half cover.
NOTES: At level 7, you gain +2 AC and +2 to Dex saves while in the sunlight. A very good defensive boon.

Snow Blindness

At 11th level, while a creature is blinded from the effects of your Glaring Frost feature attempts to take any actions they take 1d6 radiant damage as the sting of icy light pierces through their senses.
NOTES: Does what it says on the tin. Creatures blinded by you gain an additional status effect that makes them take 1d6 Radiant damage upon taking most actions.
