About this mod
Tweaks for Oath of Devotion paladins so they gain some features from Oath of Vengeance and Oath of the Ancients.
- Permissions and credits
I like the Oath of Devotion subclass for its RP vibes, oath, dialog options, all that sweet, sweet flavor. But compared to the other paladin subclasses, I found it kind of weak and dull in terms of combat features.
Since I couldn't imagine my Paladin of Lathander as something else than a Devotion Paladin, but also like experiencing fun in my 150+ hours RPG, I decided to try my hands at modding to make some tweaks to the subclass.
I won't pretend they're balanced in any way, I only chose what sounded most enjoyable to me for a second playthrough.
Do note that...
- ... the mod is a replacer, it doesn't add a fourth subclass but changes the current existing one of Oath of Devotion. The other two remains unchanged.
- ... I have absolutely no idea whether or not the changes also apply to existing NPC. In any case, I'm nearing the end of act 2 and didn't meet any problems or unexpected behaviors so...
- I'm pretty sure the mod works in all languages but did not bother to check. But I don't see any reasons why it wouldn't.
