First I saw "Difficulty: Tactician" Status in Act 3 giving me for some reason disadvantage despite enemy being blinded, enweebed and me having Risky Ring I was like: seriously? Then it turned out this only applies to range attacks. Not Melee, not throw attacks, only ranged (so no Sneak Attacks on range too). It was so stupid, out of nowhere and baffling enough that I went into files to find the reason for this as 80h in and I have never seen anything even simillar to that on Tactician difficulty:
So it turns out Doppelgangers have a "Passive" called "Readmind", in files called ""Doppelganger_ReadThoughts". Apprentely they can read your mind so you have disatvantage on attacks on them.... but only on range attacks. Like they don't seem to read mind anymore in melee and if you throw something, they also totally can't read your mind anymore. Not only that but there is zero plot/story reason for them to be able to do that, if even Mind Flayers couldn't do something like that or every other creature in game who can connect with your thoughts (which is quite a hell lot due to story!). So this debuff makes zero sense, story and mechanical wise.
So long story short, after I also unlaoded my frustration, this mod fixes that and there will be no more "Difficulty: Tactician" status on enemies giving you disadvantage out of nowhere.

1. Download .rar of my mods 2. Upack it to get .PAK file 3. Copy .pak file to C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods 4. Start BG3MM 5. Click "Refresh" button 6. Pull my mod from left side of BG3 MM window ("Inactive") to right side
