v2: Support for revealing containers with loot tables containing valuable items has been added! Because this requires checking the container itself and not the contents, the container will highlight even if it does not end up containing a valuable item.
For those that really want to use this mod, here's a potential alternative. Get yourself a relatively cheap controller for your pc and only use it when you're going to loot. When using the controller, you can use a mechanic called Active Search, which literally does what this mod does, but for controllers and it's baked into the game. I'm assuming this works for us PC gamers as well, so I just ordered a cheap controller and I`ll adjust this message if it didn't work, otherwise, you`ll know what to do.
I can confirm that this does work, however it takes a moment for all the UI and control scheme to update. Sure it saves times but those 5 seconds of inactivity hurts my lil pea brain
Bump 8th? lol I downloaded this and was like. Hmm why is it not working. Guess i need to read mods a bit more fully to notice when they havent been updated in forever T_T
Hopefully this functionality can be added to keyboard+mouse users in the future, but for now you can clear a dense room quickly if you have a controller.
