About this mod

Instead of painstakingly opening every container and corpse in a room after a long battle, instead just quickly search the room by crouching/sneaking.
Your character will make perception checks against all of the valuables and any successes will cause the item to have a reveal/glow effect play on them until you open/take them.

Instead of painstakingly opening every single container and corpse in a room after a long battle, instead just quickly search the room by crouching/sneaking.

Your character will make perception checks against all of the valuables or containers with valuables and any successes will cause the item to have a reveal/glow effect play on them until you pick them up or open them.

Its that easy!

Implementation Notes
To activate, just make sure your character is out of combat and won't be seen by any NPCs, then hit 'c' to crouch.

"Items of value" include:
Any locked container
Any container with a treasure table that can spawn a 'Item of Value'
Items worth 150gp+
Items worth 30gp+ that are worth at least 100gp/kg (Jewelry, silverware, etc.)
Rare/Legendary/Unique magic quality
Healing Potions
Story items (keys mostly)
Any quantity of gold pieces

In the version 2.1+ each item has a DC 10 Perception check required for a given character to reveal it. Be sure to search with all of your characters if a spot check fails :)

Your character makes 1 roll per container with valuables, 1 roll per valuable in the world, and 1 roll per valuable in a corpse.

Please download version 2 if you want to have the "cheat mode" where no perception check is required.

Known Limitation:
Containers with treasure tables that can spawn good items will highlight even if they do not end up containing good items.

Installation
This mod is packaged in a way that _should_ work with Candor Mod Installer. You may also
install manually, placing the included .pak file in 
`\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods` and updating your 
`\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Profiles\[Profile Name]\modsettings.lsx` file:
