This mod has been updated for Patch 8!
This mod does three things:
- Makes the Game Menu, Change Characters, History, and Poll buttons contextual, so that they will only appear if you hover over them.
- Moves the Trade button to a separate line above the other buttons, and makes it contextual so that it will only appear if you are able to trade with the NPC you are speaking to.
- Moves the Attack button to a separate line above the other buttons, and makes it contextual so that it will only appear if you are able to attack the NPC you are speaking to.
(Actually, I need to restore the last two functions of the mod. Currently the Patch 7 version only makes the buttons contextual; it doesn't move them 😅 (Magnetuning speaking here))
This achieves a similar functionality to ImprovedUI's optional dialogue button tweaks, however it uses a different method, and achieves an alternate end result.
Credit to Djmr for giving me the idea to look into and create this mod.
