From version 1.3.0 it also adds the Chosen of Mystra feat, which gives resistance to all spell types and immunity to poison and sleep, as well as some strong abilities with limited usage.
Spellfire is a form of raw magic, being the raw energy of the Weave and a very rare magical power. The rules have only been defined in 2nd and 3rd Edition and it was a very powerful feat (even among the insane powercreep). I tried to make a 5e version that was a bit limited, but I didn't want to dumb it down or make it pointless, so it's still pretty OP (but at least not completely insane). It ended up being as big as a subclass with ~10 skills.
This feat makes you able to negate and absorb any leveled spell targeting you, converting them to Spellfire Charges (up to 5).
Spellfire charges can be used to enable various types of magic (flight, healing, energy blasts) and can be inbued into weapons. I've also added some Metamagic-inspired spells to convert Spellfire Charges to Spell Slots, and to get 1 charge per Long Rest as a Bonus Action.
Charges can be accumulated up to 5 and don't go away at Long Rest (but aren't gained either unless you use the skill).
Accumulating charges above 5 will trigger an explosion that will damage the user and everything around.
The Chosen of Mystra are mortals who have been blessed by the Weave. Due to this blessing they gained access to unprecedented magical power.
Mystra's Chosen were all concerned with fighting evil and imbalances in the Weave. As a chosen, you're immune to poison and diseases, you gain resistance to all elements, you can teleport and use gifts such as the Mantle and Silver Fire.
