In Baldur's Gate 3, the only way to become an Oathbreaker was to, well, break your Oath. This is cool and all, but I didn't like the fact that you can only do this in-game. What if I wanted to play a character who broke their Oath in their backstory, for example? With this mod, that is made possible.
This mod allows you to select Oathbreaker from the subclass menu in character creation. This mod DOES NOT remove the ability to break your Oath through normal means and become an Oathbreaker that way. This mod also DOES NOT give Oathbreakers the ability to respec. Make sure you're committed to an Oathbreaker character and have your build planned out before you select this subclass in character creation. Alternatively, use this mod: Respec Spell to respec. The mod page says it doesn't work with Oathbreakers, but it works with this mod.
Requires Patch 7 or higher. This mod has been tested on Patch 8, and it works without needing an update.
Installation:
-Download the file and extract its contents
-Drag the .pak file into the following directory: AppData/Local/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/Mods
-Enable via your mod manager of choice
