I downloaded the KAVT compatible files, however, it's unclear which files are vanilla-like and which are the no wrinkle whatsoever version. I have searched all of the guides on both this mod and the KAVT mod, and it doesn't specify clearly which is which. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
same i don't even know where to put them there are 0 instructions on either mod page they're both saying "check the other mod page" lol a guide on this would be helpful
Hiya! I love this mod when playing females! But on my drow male its not working sadly. I tried the shadowheart elf, and then the human gale version - and it still won't work. I use the loose files rather than pak. Any ideas?
I tried to uninstall this, by deleting the entire "Generated" folder, and now my character has permanent wrinkles around her eyes and nose. Is there any way to fix this, to return to the default wrinkle map? For context, I'm playing a female non-muscular Wood Elf, using the second to last head iirc (the asian one).
That is very weird, every time I deleted a texture from mine while testing it just went back to normal. Potentially you could put the Generated/// folders back in and just delete the .dds files from it? I'm not sure what to suggest, sorry. Or if you had any other mods installed in the Generated and deleted those as well, that might have confused it. Maybe ask about this on nexus forums or larian discord?
i have no idea how, but it managed to fix itself- i fiddled around with my mod load order and exported it a few times and the issue went away. thank you for the advice though! going to try this mod again now, was only uninstalling previously to troubleshoot ^^
Any news on that pretty please? I literally cannot play without the smoothest version of this mod. I won't get to Patch 8 if I cannot use this critical mod. Anybody got experience with it? Does the Shadowheart file work with patch 8? Thanks for your help
I haven't had time to do my test yet, but 2 mod users have tagged it as patch 8 compatible so I think it probably is working. Worst case scenario it would just not show up, there's nothing sensitive in it like scripts. I hope that helps.
Thanks a lot for the heads up! Your mod is so fantastic, I can't play without it honestly, so I sincerely hope it will work on my end. I love BG3 but the way they decided to handle the wrinkled expressions is... blurk. Your mod is so useful for a ton of vanilla and modded faces alike. Like, Shadowheart is my ultimate wife but I can't stand to see her face when she's all wrinkly ahah!
SophitiaAlexandria Could I ask you to share later how it works for you, if you remember and don’t mind? I’ll do the same if I start before you. I’m planning a co-op and will be using loose files for Shadowheart, Gale, and githyanki. Hope everything goes smoothly!
Sure! Absolutely no problem :) I'm still in the middle of Act 3, so I need to finish my playthrough. Then, the dreaded time of game update to Patch 8, which will probably break a lot of my mods so I'll have to resolve these. Less wrinkles will be one of the first mods I will check anyway
Sooo, I’m doing my co-op with this mod—we’re in the middle of Act 1 and everything’s working fine! Loose files didn’t let my partner start the game (I mean, there was a warning about possible issues in the launcher), so I deleted them and installed the .pak file through BG3 Mod Manager—and it worked!
I am not entirely sure yet, I am mostly waiting until the dust settles/Larian does a hotfix because a lot of people have been getting inconclusive results about what works and what doesn't in this new patch. But I haven't abandoned the mod or anything like that.
Definitely not ready for Patch 8. Installing this mod caused FPS to tank into single digits whenever Karlach is the focus of a cutscene. Uninstalling it fixed it.
Am I suppose to only use one of the 2 main files for this? I had the "Shadowheart Female Wrinkle Map Edits" installed long time ago and I wonder if I should manually delete those and install the PAK instead?

Could you let me know where in your load order you have this placed?
Thanks for your help
