DESCRIPTION

This mod enhances the  Ranger class, bringing a number of damage and utility improvements to the Hunter's Mark spell and boosting the BeastMaster's pet to strengthen it from the mid-game.

Features:

1.- Lord Of The Beast Ring:
Effect: Increases your pet's damage based on your Ranger level.
Up to level 5: +1d4 Force Damage
Levels 6 to 10: +2d4 Force Damage
Level 11 and up: +3d4 Force Damage
Bonus: Grants additional damage when you are Concentrated.

2.- Greath MasterBeast Ring:
Effect: Improves your pet's hit chance, scaling with your overall level.
Bonus: Increases critical hit chance and hit chance for the BeastMaster when the pet is nearby.

3.- The Wild Covenant Dagger:
Purpose: Enhances all weapon attacks to mark enemies.
Vulnerability Mark: Beast: Applied by your pet's attacks and detonated by your attacks,
increasing critical hit chance for the next attack and adding +1d4 Force Damage.
Vulnerability Mark: Hunter: Applied by your critical attacks, greatly boosting your pet's attacks,
adding Force damage equal to its basic attack damage.

4.- Legolas Crown:
Effect: Increases critical hit chance based on your Ranger level.
Bonus: Grants "Darkvision" passive.
Goal: Frees up the headgear slot for other party members, reducing gear competition with the Ranger.

5.- The amulet of Artemis:
Effect: Greatly improves the damage that can be achieved through The Hunter's Mark, as well as granting you
 useful tools at advanced levels.
Goal: Bring some improvements from DnD5e 2024, in addition to enhancing Hunter's Mark with one of the most requested improvements,
 removing the "Concentration" condition.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Keeping a focus on being as non-intrusive with the base game elements as possible, I preferred to add a modified version of the
Hunter's Mark spell, rather than modifying the original spell, in order to allow for full compatibility with any other mods. Because of this,
the modified version that comes with the amulet may not interact with any other elements in the game, but I hope that makes up for all the
interactions that the amulet itself brings. The amulet's passives that have the Hunter's Mark condition as one of their triggers work with
both, the modified version, Instinc Hunter's Mark, and the base version of the game.

INSTALLATION

This mod works with Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager, and possibly Vortex and Manual Installations. BG3 Mod Managers is by far the simplest method, and as such is recommended one.

BG3 Mod Manager
  • Download the latest release, and unzip the .pak file.
  • Open BG3 Mod Manager, click File->Import Mod.
  • Select ModName.pak.
  • Once imported hit refresh.
  • Drag ModName to the top of the Left pane.
  • Hit "Save Load Order to File."

Final Words

My second Mod, now focused on improving the BeastMaster subclass, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for your time and support <3

I bring a 2.0 version of this Mod inspired by the comments to the Ranger class and the changes it has for the DND5e 2024 version, perhaps sinning by focusing the Mod on a more general vision of the class and not so much of the Subclass, but because I feel that among my published mods this is where it fits best and because I really don't feel it's worth releasing a new Mod just to add 1 item. Hoping that the visibility of the addition is not hindered by my decision and can reach those who are looking for a little more power in the Ranger class without the need to do "excessive" Multiclass :3

Thanks to the Modders community and all the people who have created the various tools and templates that have allowed this Mod to exist today <3
Special thanks to Paramonov95, one of his pieces of equipment from Mod Ancient Jewelry served as inspiration and basis for designing the rings :3
