Whenever I ask myself "is this enough curls" I instantly know that I indeed, have to add more curls.
This mod is a replacer mod (not a .pak) that edits Wyll base hair, replacing the straight hair ends with curls that are more in line with his hair type.
Inspired by various fanarts, I thought that it would be an easy edit as I'm already testing stuff with curls, so here you go: an option for those who like Wyll's hair but with a little change.
Includes a version with bigger curls that is more prominent from the front.
This mod should be compatible with any mod that does not edit the following:
Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\_Hair\Resources\HAIR_HUM_M_Dreads_Short_A.GR2
The edited GR2 is the original Loomspun hair itself, meaning that it is only concerned with the mesh only, no texture change or scalp. Which means that the hairstyle Faerun Fantasia is unaffected.
It is fully compitable with any mod that doesn't change the Loomspun mesh like Wyll's Devil Form, Scruffy Wyll, Wyll's Eye Colour Restored, Transgender Wyll... etc.
Any .pak hair mod for Wyll will override this mod.
- To install, simply drop the Generated Folder in your \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data
- The hair is properly weighted, however since it's a replacer, there are no physics (in any case, this type of hair wouldn't have the same physics as straight hair) there is fuzz animation though so it doesn't look entirely static.
- Since it's a CC hair, it's automatically an available option for your Tav in CC (The Loompsun hairstyle) and will change any NPC with that hairstyle see: Z'rell.
