Background:
In an Idylic Grove, a ritual in the light of the full moon was underway. To bring forth the birth of the child that would one day take over this chapter of the druidic circle, dedicated to the moon and Selune. Their prayers and chants were answered, but not by their goddess. They indeed received the child that they had wanted, but they had no way of knowing that this child would grow among them only to be their ruin.
Aiden slaughtered the secluded circle, loyal only to his father and god.
A tragedy unforseen by the leadership at the time, for who among them was to know that Bhaal would use their faith against them, by sending his chosen murder hound right to their door.
Present:
His mind shattered, his memory all but swallowed up by the aching void in his head, Aiden awoke on the nautiloid with nothing but flickers of a life he presumably had and a goddess he had served. But among the flashes and scraps, there was something dark, something profane lurking in the far reaches of his mind.
He had but one path before him.
Resist the darkness, beg Selune for her protection, and make it through the storm, alive.
