Do NOT download update if you want to play with old saves!
For MORE COMPLETE info, read updated Mod page!

Read before asking me questions.
  • Seriously, please, heed the above and take it to your heart. I spent entire day making the mod page update, the graphics and summary of the content, just so I can get the mod to you all today. My head pounds with a migraine of hell right now and I need to... breathe.

What's New in v2

NEW DEPENDENCIES LIST:

My mod comes after the prerequisite mods in load order! The list is fairly representative of correct load order, aside of the override mods, such as Improved UI and Trips's Shaders and obviously, Script Extender.

RACES, DRAGONS AND GENERAL STUFF:

  • You can now pick your Dragon form color and your prefered element type separately. Want that Red Dragon spew acid? Now you can!
  • Removed old subraces. Now you only have two options, (not counting the third, read below) but they imo make up to it with the options they offer.
  • High Half-Dragon is closest to the original content. It has the same spell selection the original subraces had. It's the OP version of the race, due to gained spells via racial progression.
  • Lesser Half-Dragon is closest to Roku's Nerf Patch. It offers the Racial passives, but gets no spells nor spellslots via Progressions.
  • Third option, Draconic Soul, is a choice for people who want to play my homebrew classes, want to enjoy the main race humanoid aesthetics, but don't want to have two Dragon forms and Breaths, that are instead added by the respective classes. Don't pick this unless you want to play one of my classes.
  • Races no longer give Ability Score increases.
  • New Action resource, Bloodline Power. It'll be utilized for your Dragon forms, dragon breaths and some special abilities of the newly added Classes, see below.
  • You can no longer use Dragon form attribute bonuses in Dialogue now.
  • Dragon Forms finally have their own unique portraits, corresponding with their actual appearance.
  • Skeletal Dragon form.. did anyone say they want an Undead Dragon? I got you, fam. The low level, tiny one looks funny AF.
  • Breath weapons in humanoid form moved to something new visually. More dragon-breath-looking (think of the breath fire Dragon gets in my mod, but smaller, slightly) and different from Dragonborns. I wanted to make a difference between Dragonborn and my race apparent even more, so people stop asking me for compatibility for this and that BreathWeapon mod. Damage-wise, they'll be the same what they were previously, in terms of scaling, to not go overboard with the power. Just visually different. They cost one Bloodline Point to use.
  • Two new damage types - Radiant and Necrotic.

RP TIDBITS AND BUGFIXES:

  • You can select your racial tags. Thanks to fantastic ghouls0rules from Down by the River server, who made the template, so others could use it. It doesn't have small races, for RP reasons, though, since we don't have ability to give you more than 4 bodytypes.
  • Removed Dragonborn racial tag from human Half-Dragons, since it is the culprit of the bugged kisses animations. Unfortunate, but the above should make up to the lost RP potential, hopefully.
  • The models of the race are set to be taller than regular puny Humanoids. You have Dragon blood, you're meant to be intimidating and big. ROAR. Puny. Humans. *crunch, munch, munch*
  • Other bugfixes mentioned by users. Kissing bug and wrong pants should be fixed now.

NEW CLASSES:

  • Two classes that are lore-friendly to TTRPG worldsetting my work comes from, and are far more true to idea of what the original mod should be.  It's my way of saying I hate my old work so much, yes.
  • The main class is called Draconic Champion and all homebrew classes will be added under it, as its' subclasses.
  • First one, House of Val - Its' main focus is fire/cold... and a lot of mayhem. This new class will have some risk-factors to usage of the magic, as it should have been. High risk, high reward, expect accidental magical explosions, lol. Thanks to fantastic Shivero for helping me implementing the happy magical accidents. *chuckles*
  • Second clas, House of Nox, is a Support/Healer character archetype, but don't be fooled - they can wreck some serious sh.. as well, should you want, so not your typical healbot, lol. It won't be as explosive on magical accidents as my first class. Main focus is Force/Psychic, in terms of damage type of spells, aside of supportives and heals.
  • Both classes above have a choice of Dragon form color and breaths, just like the races, but limits may apply, based on the theme of the class, as far as breaths types go. Implemented a special subrace as an option for the Half-Dragon, if someone wants to play my homebrew classes, with the main race's aesthetics, but without having doubled abilities of the main race.
  • Naturally, my homebrew classes can be played with any vanilla race as well.
  • Hirelings of both of the subclasses are present. Unfortunately, still have to overwrite vanilla ones to avoid bugs, but.. eh. Hopefully one day.
  • The classes have content up to level 12, but empty/dummy levels were added for those of you, who use level uncapping mods. It will prevent you from crashing on level up past 12, should you use level uncapping mods. I recommend multiclassing into another class past level 12, as obviously, you will not gain any new abilities from my classes then.
