Hey!

I've integrated a large part of Unique Tav into Whispers of the Divine: Aasimar.

What does this mean?
It means, one mod less to download as a requirement and more control over what replaces what for me as an author.
Currently supported:
-Custom Body Textures (If you know how to make a GTP/Virtual Texture Databank)
-Custom Body Models (.GR2)
-Custom Face-Tattoos
-Custom Body Tattoos
-Custom MakeUp Atlas

There's a menu? How does it look and what does it do?


This menu will allow you to have up to three different texture files for your face and body tattoos and your makeup. Below you will find where to place your texture files.

How to install my custom textures?

"SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/Data/'

Navigate to your /unique_tav/ Data folder here (Create them if you don't have them):


unique_tav/BODY/AASIMAR/ holds your body models, either under FEMALE for Bodytypes 1 and 3, and MALE for bodytypes 2 and 4.
unique_tav/BODY/TATTOO/ holds your body tattoo textures.
unique_tav/HEAD/AASIMAR/ holds your head textures, either under FEMALE for Bodytypes 1 and 3, and MALE for bodytypes 2 and 4.
unique_tav/FACE holds both the face tattoo and MakeUp texture files.

File names are as follows:

Specific instructions:

How do I remove the crackles on the body or make the eyes human-looking?

Simply install the optional download under Updates. Load below WotD:A SEE in your loadorder.

    Thank you for this new version of WoD, finally my Aasimar can wear her underwear !

    But I have some problems with the body model, I'm trying to put this one :

    It worked on the Deluxe edition, but not with this version so I suppose it's a naming problem. Here's a screenshot of the files names (they're in the FEMALE folder)

      Ah, we use Virtual Textures for the body now, sorry. In the coming days I will put out a tutorial how to make a new VT database so you can use these again.

    I understand this is a small thing, but is there any way to make the scars mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2800?tab=posts&BH=4) work with SE?

    So I seriously don't know what I am doing wrong. I can't figure out how to layer that face tats the way I want to (like I was green 2 with red 10). When I go into my files, there is no "Generated" Folder. I have tried just creating it, but I don't think I am doing that right. There is still no actual tattoo file. :(

    Hi, love the mod, and I'm sure this is user error, but when I use this menu it overrides my tattoo color and I can't for the life of me figure out how to reset it so I can change the color in the native character editor. Do I need to delve into the files themselves to fix this? Thanks in advance, this is my first time using a mod more complex than "Import via mod manager"

    The setup seems to be different from the UTAV version before, I'm trying to use the body crackles but its now stuck as strong body textures but looking at the folders above there doesn't seem to be anything I can swap out to change at least the normal maps so the body is smooth keeping the crackles (even with some of the depth of them removed because smoother normals), what do I rename them now and what folder do I put them in? or there some way to do it with the magic mirror menu? 

    I love the new changes this has over the other version (especially the no longer being underwear slot wings changes) and would prefer not to change back to that one if possible but seeing my characters skin change back to the unpleasant wrinkly skin is sad when i've come to love the crackles and this mod is too good to not use :D

    (sorry, i'm not good at understanding technical side of things)

    is there any way to Add Lawful or Chaotic - Sleeve Back and Chest Body Tattoos to your lineup of tattoos

    i really love being able to change between different texture files, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the colours and being limited to only the really bright gaudy options. Am i doing it wrong? If I'm not, would it please be possible to create an optional file that allows the default makeup/tattoo colours to be used only?

    Hi Trips,

    Thank you for now virtual texture support!! i already tried a set of custom textures for Aasimar (male strong) but it seems the ones your mod has packed take priority over my own... could use some help since it's my first time loading my own VTs from a race that already has them on its own. Thank you again!

    Also i set it all as it should. The "Gtexfilename" and the "AAS_BODY_NKD_MS" and everything else needed as well

      I'd double-check the texture's names because I had a similar problem but with another body type. my custom texture wasn't showing up on my fem small character, and it turned out I put the name for fem strong body types by mistake when I created the VT set, also make sure you're creating textures for the Aasimar body version you're using in your game (crackles/no crackles, they've 2 different VT sets). If you do everything right it should work ^^

      thanks! yeah i've made sure i got the right names and everything for it to override the body type 4  VTs but still unfortunately nothing. I'm waiting if maybe Trips help us out with a guide cause i'm not sure really what am i missing here. You can also send me a private message if you would like to help me further!

      Sure! I can write you a quick guide on how I did it, so if you missed one step/did some mistakes you'll know ^^ I'll probably do it later this afternoon since I'm a bit busy right now

      You're welcome ^^ I know how frustrating it feels when things aren't working as expected and you cannot figure out why, I'm glad to help where I can. I'd be so sad if I couldn't use my custom body textures, I hope my (probably not very good) guide would help you finding out why it wasn't working for you

    Thank you soo much. Finally, I can use body tattoo for my aasimar.
    But I have a problem. I don't know if i'm doing wrong. Body tattoo only appear on body type 1. Can you help me please? I want to use body tattoo on body type 2. Sorry for my poor english

      Simply make a copy and rename the BT1 to BT2.

      Each bodytype has their own tattoo:).

      I already added the copy for BT1 until BT4. But it's still the same. Only bodytype 1 has the tattoo :((

      Make sure the extension is .DDS and not .dds. Check by renaming them and seeing what extension they have.

      I've tried renaming the files. The extension is correct (I've uploaded the new tattoo folder with extension view). But It's still the same :((

      It seems to be conflicting with another mod I used. When I try only using this mod with unique tav, the tattoo show up. I'll try to figure it out myself.
