Only relevant for those playing on an older version of BG3 (before patch 4).
You can use Gale Pal + Appearance Edit and change the head to whatever you want using this method. Pair with a head mod of your choice such as Vemperen's Other Heads. Credit to Rokdog for informing me and to appearance edit author Eralyne for providing this method.
Install Improved UI, Script Extender with console, and Appearance Edit (Base + Origin files) first. You might need to revert to script extender v7, see below
1. Load into the game
2. Alt+tab so that the console is the active window
3. press Enter once so you get S > >
4. copy paste this into the console (What this does is give you the female customization options.)Ext.Entity.Get("S_Player_Gale_ad9af97d-75da-406a-ae13-7071c563f604").CharacterCreationStats.BodyType= 1
If you are using script extender v6 (it is older than v7) use this insteadExt.Entity.Get("S_Player_Gale_ad9af97d-75da-406a-ae13-7071c563f604").CharacterCreationStats.field_20 = 1
6. go back to the game, open the mirror or sneak+resculpt
7. The first time you open the mirror you will need to hit "Randomise
Appearance" once to get the Confirm button work. You may see Gale's
default bald head floating, but from the customizer you should now have
female options. Select one of the heads and you should be good to go to
customize from here.
If the confirm button still doesn't work, try changing the genitals or voice in game.

To revert to older script extender vversions: Using BG3MM go to Preferences -> Advanced and enable Developer mode. Then, go to Updater, and under Select Version, select theolder version you want
