The reason the Tutorial Chest was originally chosen was, that it seemed to be one of the most commonly accepted places to place new loot. There is a "Tutorial Chest Summon" mod that allows access to it from literally everywhere.
Lately however, placing new items in the Camp Chest seems to be the more acceptable way of doing things. I will be doing that as well, for my update of the series.
