  • V-CORE collection of 45 ships.
  • 42 ships comes in two configurations; Battle and Excavation.
  • 3 Transport Hauler ships only come in Transport configuration.
  • Each ship comes in the official "Default" main and detail texture combination with "G.E.M." glow pattern or in 4 V-CORE custom texture styles:
"Style A"
"Style B"
"Style C"
"Style C HEX" utilizing the 'Hextorn' glow texture from the "Carnifice Syndicate Texture Pack" by "an0nym0uz" (with permission)
  • Changing the primary color of V-CORE custom styles changes the accent hue (aqua color in the screenshots) while the ship base color remains dark.
  • All ship class and type files of all styles can be loaded at the same time.
  • Battle/Excavation ships possess attributes comparable to official ships of the classes and types or slightly higher.
  • Transport/Hauler ships possess attributes that I tried to get as being somewhat similar to Industrials/Haulers in EVE-Online.
  • Non-Transport/Hauler ships also possess bonuses appropriate for the ship configurations (weapons for Battle, mining/drones for Excavation).
  • The XL Dreadnought ships extend beyond the maximum 30 unit length a ship can be in the Ship Editor.
  • The XL Dreadnought attributes are increased/decreased in relation to the increase in size and mass over standard.

NOTES:

TO ASTROX IMPERIUM DEVELOPER JACE MASULA
I doubt that my permission is needed for you to include these player-made ship designs into your game (ships configured for your game with your own ship editor tools that you made). However, if you do like my ship designs and you would like to add one or all of these into your game, but you also would like my permission to include them even if it isn't needed, I do give this permission to you.

PART SCALING
The 0.136 game version update introduced the ability to scale ship parts and weapon modules in the ship editor. All V-CORE ships in this collection utilize this part scaling to some degree. In the case of the XL Dreadnoughts, some of the ships go far beyond the intended 30 unit size of the editor and even reach near double that size. All weapon modules are also scaled down to half size on all V-CORE ships.

NPC/MERC SHIP VERSIONS
Ship part scaling appears to not be fully implemented into all areas of the game yet. Despite part scaling values being present in the files, NPC/Merc ships still completely ignore part scaling settings as of the 0.143 game version. The V-CORE ship collection configured as NPC/Merc ships is fully completed, but offering it is postponed until after this issue in the game is fixed and scaling works properly on these ships.

CAMPAIGN - NEW GAME
CAMPAIGN - EXISTING GAME
- Ships added to the "ships" folder will slowly become available at stations randomly over time in new Campaign games.
(check station Lounge News for notifications of new ships becoming available at stations)

SANDBOX - EXISTING GAME
- Ships require being manually added to one or more station shipyards in the save game files to make them available for purchase.
- To make any or all added ships available immediately at one or more stations, you can either manually alter any station file's <HANGAR> section to include the ship(s), or utilize the in-game Mod Tools > Station Editor and edit one or more stations in your save game to include the new ships.
