Introduction
My name is Adam and I like to make skins for AC. I've been making enough that I felt like sharing them here.
Some are fictional ,some are replicas and some are just what I use for races.
Installation of these skins should be as easy as a drag and drop into the folder of the car.
That said I recommend using Content Manager for an even easier install.
"When shall I expect new skins?"
Occasionally. Original plan was to share liveries about every 6 weeks because of some of the leagues I took part in but since the start of 2023 there wasn't much time to spend on making liveries. Some skin packs might be older projects I rework in my free time or related to some community events so it's hard to point and say when I'll be adding new liveries or packs of liveries.
"After Installing your skins I get a message about missing preview files"
Content Manager allows you to generate preview files as a PNG instead of JPG.
PNG files are transparent and I find them cooler than JPGs so I use them.
If you don't use the PNG option or don't like my previews you can always create your own preview files.
"Explain the livery packs" | Planned feature ,not fully included yet.
Cup - Generic liveries to add more livery options to the cars.
Creator - Liveries based on YouTube/Twitch etc. person. These are mainly for fun as most of them admit that it's not likely they'll actually end up using them. As long as they are fine with them I include them in these packs.
Fiction - Based on Games/Movies/Anime etc. (You could call the latter Itasha I guess too.) Either replicating fictional cars or making fictional liveries based on fictional characters.
Icons - Liveries dedicated to famous/iconic drivers. These are not meant to be replica liveries of real life cars but rather homage liveries.
Teams - Similar to the creators packs it's based on communities and other racing teams and not with leagues in mind.
"Can I request a livery?"
As long as you don't ask something insane. :D
I'm not a pro at this and I like to make more simple styled liveries.
Also please don't be mad if I turn down the request or if it takes a long time to publish it.
