make the transparent parts in photoshop, save as psd, them open in gimp and export the bc1 from there. For some reason the BC1 exports on photoshop make screw the trasnparence and made it black.
Gimp maintain transparence on this simples kind of dds.
sorry for the late reply... i set the normal map for saving this way: Texture type : Color + Alpha Compression : BC7 8bpp Fine (Linear, DX11+) as for the mipmaps its the same as always... you need to save it with dds intel Texture Works...
dude this is awesome! is it possible to edit the texture of the skirt portion of the armor to make it shorter? kinda like the thrall chest piece? think that would be more accurate to the series but anyway nice texture man!

in all humility, if one day someone adds a one handed sword mod, i will buy the game. Not before.
