A mod for those who want to play as Arno with his hood down for some reason. Ever since Assassin's Creed Unity released, I always preferred the look of Arno with his hood down similar to that in the Shay and Bellec outfits. This mod allows hood down in all the .forge files wherever Arno and his outfit models are loaded.

INSTALLATION:

1. To install this mod, download AnvilToolkit from  kamzik123 is required. 

2. Select Assassin's Creed Unity from the game list andunpack DataPC_ACU_LGS_BelleEpoque_patch_03.forge, DataPC_ACU_LGS_Medieval_patch_03.forge, DataPC_ACU_LGS_WorldWar2_patch_03.forge, DataPC_ACU_Paris.forge, DataPC_ACU_Versailles.forge located in Assassin's Creed Unity directory where ACU.exe is located and DataPC_10_dlc.forge in dlc_10 folder along with DataPC_ACU-DLC_Saint-Denis.forge in dlc_11 folder.

3. After unpacking successfully, an Extracted folder will be created. Open my mod's zip file and drag the contents from the Main File folder and replace when prompted. In total, 9 files will be replaced.

4. Now, right click on the .forge file to repack it using Anvil Toolkit. After repacking all the .forge files successfully close the toolkit.

5. Finally, Open the second folder bundled in my mod named Shader Fix and extract its contents where ACU.exe is located. It disables the unwanted hair mesh being loaded in the Raider and Franciade Hood without messing with other hair meshes using 3Dmigoto.

NOTES:

1. Always backup your files before replacing in case you want to revert back to Arno with hood up.

2. dlc_10 and dlc_11 folder files are not required if you do not have Dead Kings Dlc installed.

3. In case, you do not want Arno with his hood down in a a particular city, town or time anomaly sections you can choose not to install their particular files. For example, if you want Arno to have hood down in Versailles and hood up in Paris, you need to install only DataPC_ACU_Versailles.forge contents and not DataPC_ACU_Paris.forge contents. You can customize to your liking.

UPDATES:

The shader fix folder no longer needs to be installed as i have noticed that it hides the beard mesh for Arno. You need to remove the following from your game directory:

The updated version of the mod fixes the beard glitch and allows Arno to have beard in all scenes where he is supposed to have them alongwith beard for all hoods in St. Denis only.

Future update plans: 

I. Only two hoods are not showing up beard which will be fixed soon.

II. Also, double hood for franciade and raider hood will be fixed where hood will be down in all areas except St. Denis.
