INTRODUCTION

Hello and welcome to my newest reshade preset for Assassin's Creed Unity. My goal was to create the ultimate preset for this game for maximum realism.

SHADERS

There are two presets:

Quality: This one is using NiceGuy's Lighting shader which is some kind of screen space ray traced global illumination. Its free, so you don't have to pay for patreon and does a solid job. The disadvantage is that its pretty heavy, so expect around 30-40% performance loss with the other effects combined.

Article about how SSRTGI works for those who are not familiar with it:

Performance: This preset uses Glamarye's fast effects, which are... fast. It does not provides ray traced lighting or reflections but does a fairly good job for the minimal fps loss. The same other effects are used as in quality (10% fps loss).

After download you can freely customize the presets, turn off and on shaders of your taste.

Attention: Please bear in mind that this preset was created and tested in high resolution (3440x1440, 5160x2160), high graphics gaming with RTX 4090 and Ryzen 5800X3D. The pictures and videos clearly shows how it looks on my end. Playing in 1080p resolution with mid-low graphics settings you might get other visual experience.
