Hello everyone,

Here is a mod which replaces one-handed high dmg swords with elegant KATANA model:
You can choose between (or install both of them):

- The Schiavona (price 200K),
                    or
- The Cinquedeas (price 125K)
  to save a "few" bucks :P

INSTALATION:

AnvitToolkit SET UP:

• Install AnvilToolkit and Net5 (see AnvilToolkit's Description here).
• Locate ACU.exe in the Assassin's Creed Unity directory and link it to AnvilToolkit.
• Disable the use of compression in Settings->Files and Set Compression Ratio to 0.
  

MOD INSTALATION:

Using AnvilToolkit:

• Unpack "DataPC_patch_01.forge".
• Unpack "0_-_Game Bootstrap Settings.data".
  

Using File Explorer:

• Copy and Paste "12347_-_1handed19_R6_LOD0.Mesh" from my mod to File path: Assassin's Creed Unity\Extracted\DataPC_patch_01.forge\Extracted\0_-_Game Bootstrap Settings.data (to replace Schiavona),
• Or Copy and Paste "12351_-_1handed20_R6_LOD0.Mesh" from my mod to the same File path (to replace Cinquedeas).
• Yes - to replace files. 
  

Using AnvilToolkit again:

• Repack "0_-_Game Bootstrap Settings.data".
• Repack "DataPC_patch_01.forge".
• Profit !

Reason for this mod:

1.)
I was really suprised, when no search results poped up for "KATANA mod" for this game.
And I am sure, that a lot of you guys love Japanese blacksmithing, so this mod is here to honor that craftsmanship.
2.)
As KATANA is simply superior to any of the European swords of that age - it should be on TOP TIER swords.
Finally, you can slice them properly ;)

As for the LORE:
Yes, I know we are in French Revolution, and it would look unusual for Arno to wield such a weapon,
but he is a well-connected, resourceful assassin - willing to take any advantage in combat!

This is my first ever mod - so I am kinda celebrating, and I hope you´d like it.
