Unlike my Brotherhood preset , with Revelations it was quite possible to make one preset look great (in my humble opinion) throughout the game. Some effects (like FilmGrain, Chromatic Aberration or DoF) are not for everyone, but they can be easily disabled. I made the world somewhat more colorful, but if it's too much for you, go to Lightroom settings, find Global Saturation and Global Vibrance and turn them down as you please.
Installation:
• Download ReShade at https://reshade.me/ . • Install it for ACRSP.exe.. • Extract the preset .ini file and reshade-shaders folder to the game directory. • Run the game, select the preset. • IMPORTANT (This needs to be done every time when running the game and every time you minimize / maximize game window): Toggle DisplayDepth shader on (NumPad 2 by default), then switch to DX9 tab of ReShade settings and tick a Depth Buffer that makes the game look like this:
(If you are quick enough to do this during the loading screen when Desmond or Ezio model is shown, whichever depth buffer has CLEAR next to it is the correct one — just tick that one) • Untick DisplayDepth to disable it.
Important: depth buffer doesn't work properly in some locations (like in memory corridors or animus island). So I suggest having a hotkey to toggle it off.
