I followed all the steps till step 8, where can I change my Gamma values? My reshade looks nothing like yours, I can send you a picture to show you what I currently see.
Hey, can you send me a picture (in game) with reshade Opened where you have Check and uncheck settings (like hdr / tone map etc...) and sort list to see all checked settings on the top of reshade window
did you install all packages during reshade installation ? With version 4.9.1 ? Did you choose directx10/11/12 with reshade ?
Ok, I downloaded reshade 4.9.1, and I selected the directx10/11/12 options. Afterwards I copied the zip file and extracted the contents to the location where the .exe file was. It replaced any of the old files after the extraction took place. I clicked home, switched to your preset, it automatically had some of the textures/shades checked but the quality was horrendous.
It seems that all settings are correct. What differences have you got compared to my screenshotS ? It’s about color ? Contrast ? Sharpening ? Dof ? Can you provide a screenshot in game with balek :p
I don't know if you still own the game but If you could post your in game settings hat would be nice. I could show you my monitor settings, but I doubt it'll have any effect. I maxed out all the graphics, I'll post a screenshot if it'll help.
Edit: where can I change my gamma values? I haven't done any changes to reshade, do I select more textures? The texture with Chromatic aberation something seems to be the culprit.
Yes post a screenshot when you play balek. I’m not at home at this moment (I can see my settings in two days, but don’t think that it’ll help). Better that you post a screenshot to see what is the problem. When you said horrendous, is about ? Pixelated ? Too sharpening ? Too dark ?
I said Gamma but this is luminosity In ac origin (can change it in main menu settings of AC origin
Ok for blurry (hard to read) it comes from different settings - chromatic aberration (Red/green dots) - tiltshift 1 and 2 (Blurry part from top/down and left/right side) - lightdof_far (Depht of field)
feel free to deactivate these settings if you don’t like.
If I want to? Is the screenshot I sent above is how it looks for you too or how it was intended to be? I didn't test in-game but the text and you can see the bottom right of the image looks washed out and blurry. Those changes you suggested indeed work but I'm wondering if it would take away from your masterful reshade.

Yes all settings are configured to match my vision in game (not in menu). Blurry effect in sides is normal (want to mimic human vision : detailed in center and blurry on peripheral). Try the game with my settings, if you have problem to read in game armor or weapon description feel free to deactivate these settings. your screenshot seems to be what I had. As I said, start a new game and try reshade with gameplay, feel free to deactivate settings if you have some problem in menu. In game I always hide my hud (for better immersion)
did you install version 4.9.1 of reshade ? did you choose all package during reshade installation ? did you copy/paste all Rar content in game directory where you got the .exe ?
I dont know if the game has been updated or something, but for the life of me, I cannot get the Reshade menu to pop up for this game. I have installed reshade for many different games and I can't see what issues I could have. I installed 4.9.1, installed all packages, and dropped all your files into my game folder. I'm on Ubisoft connect and have tried disabling overlays. I also tried running it as an administrator. I do have MSI afterburner but I don't believe I have any overlays from it, and it hasn't caused any problems for me in the past. I didn't have enough space on the hard drive I usually use for games and so I installed it on another hard drive on my computer. Could that be the source of the issue?
The screenshots look amazing btw and I wanna enjoy what you have created, just need a little help.
Hey willal212 Very strange, Ubisoft Connect Overlay doesn't affect Reshade. Try to make a clean uninstallation/installation. Be sure to choose Directx10/11/12 when install Reshade 4.9.1. Don't think that other hard drive has influences on Reshade... but maybe yes :s
Found out the problem. Reshade cannot be used at the same time as the mod manager Resorep. So if you are using texture mods for this game, you will not be able to use reshade.
That being said, I did get a chance to play around with your Reshade and I loved it!

You can deactivate Tilt_Shift to remove blurry effect.
