Changelogs
Version Version 2.0 final
Completely rebuilt from the ground up. Massive improvements to color correction and aesthetics.
Version 1.4.1-final
VividFX - Cinematic Preset. This update was a major overhaul to the color correction aspect of VividFX. I learned a couple of new tricks from the folks at Digital Dreams discord. I updated version 1.4.1 simultaneously with version 1.3.2. They both use the same color correction techniques aside from a few other tweaks to get that cinematic feel.
>Removed Tint (Thank you Marinko for the advice!)
>Added LiftGammaGain to address some feedback on the Sky looking muted. (Thank you Adyss!) -Massive improvement to color correction -The sky, water and ocean will look much more vibrant
>Additional color correction with DPX
>Minor adjustments to CA, HDR and Colorfulness
That's pretty much it. If you read this far, thank you for using VividFX.
A special thanks to those who stuck with me along the way as I was updating VividFX! I've learned a lot here. I can now implement some new techniques with my future ReShade presets. Cheers!
Version 1.4
Initial release. This is my own interpretation of a cinematic preset. It contains the same DNA as the original VividFX with a few extra bells and whistles.
>Removed Tint (Thank you Marinko for the advice!)
>Added DPX -Gives it that filmic look -Additional color correction
>Added Film Grain
>Re-worked LightDOF -For that cinematic look -Can be toggled on/off with the 'N' key
>Added Cinematic DOF (Optional) -Used for high quality screenshots -Can be toggled on/off with the 'B' key
This preset has slightly more performance hit over standard VividFX. Especially when using Cinematic DOF for screenshots. Make sure you don't have LightDOF and CinematicDOF activated at the same time!
Version 1.3.2-final (Main Ve
VividFX - Standard. This update was a major overhaul to the color correction aspect of VividFX. I learned a couple of new tricks from the folks at Digital Dreams discord.

Version 1.3.1-final
VividFX - Performance Preset.
Removed several effects and kept the core effects. Performance should be better than VividFX Standard without straying too far from the original aesthetics.
Version 1.3
Update v1.3 brings further refinements and various tweaks to each effect in use. I revised the combination of Lumasharpen, Chromatic Aberration and Depth of Field effects.
>Re-worked Lumasharpen to be less harsh on the eyes overall -The effect should provide better sharpness for finer details and it will look much better at night -Also provides better scaling across all resolutions
>Chromatic Aberration was adjusted down slightly to compensate for the adjustment to Lumasharpen
>Depth of Field was also adjusted down a bit similar to CA and how it works with Lumasharpen -DOF was scaled back to be more in line with the default LOD distance -If you want to adjust DOF to your own preference please see below
>Finer tuning of the color correction -A little bit less blue overall
>>>>>>>>>>>>Optional DOF tweaks<<<<<<<<<<<< Open the ReShade configuration window in-game and adjust the following sliders to your preference
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Too much color?<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Adjust the slider for Colorfulness to your preference Colorfulness is set to 2.000 by default
Be sure to update to the latest version of ReShade. Installation instructions remain the same. Just replace all files and you're good to go.
Version 1.2
The main focus of this update was to improve performance and make refinements. I highly suggest setting Volumetric Clouds to either Medium, High or Low based on what your system can handle. Volumetric clouds at higher settings has a huge impact on performance. The DOF effect does a great job at masking the clouds. I ran many hours of testing in densely populated areas and saw an increase to performance by up to 8 fps on average.
> Swapped out Adaptive Sharpen for Lumasharpen. - AS is much more resource intensive than Lumasharpen. - Lumasharpen also has the added benefit of having a much cleaner presentation than before. - (decent performance gain)
> Removed Film Grain because it barely contributed to the overall look and feel of this preset. - (minor performance gain)
> Reorganized the effects load order for a much cleaner presentation. - (minor performance gain)
> Lowered the color saturation a bit and did some color correction - (negligible impact on performance)
> Setting Volumetric Clouds to medium made a significant boost to performance for my system.
Be sure to update to the latest version of ReShade. Installation instructions remain the same. Just replace all files and you're good to go.
