I get an Error message: "NoSuchFileException: dx11proxy64.dll" when adding application on Resorep 1.7.0. I followed the instructions precisely.Any suggestions?
Found fix:
I had to add "dx11proxy64.dll" before adding ACOdyssey.exe. The dll file is found in the same folder as resorep.jar.
By the way this mod makes this game so much better. I already have over 100+ hours into it and I want to restart it so I can play it all with this mod. Thanks!
I wanted to play as immersive as possible and tried to play with the option "HUD off" on nightmare but it really sucks sometimes. For example: You don't know which arrow is selected (normal or stun) if you don't remember it. They look the same and the only way to figure it out is to shoot someone (impact sound). You don't know which skill set is active either. Wasting my adrenalin for the wrong abillity happens way to often.
But now I can select the minimum HUD, see my selected arrows/abillities and simply disable almost all icons. Nice :D
I've been trying to get rid of the enemy level indicator while keeping the icons for polemarchs and captains. Does anyone know which one is the texture for the enemy levels or do I have to get rid of all enemy icons to get rid of their level indicator? I just want the health bar and objective based enemies to be visible.
Edit: Upon further testing, I added all the removal textures to test whether they affect the enemy level. They don't. It only removes the background of the level indicator but the white level numbers still appear above every enemy. Quite disappointing though I don't blame the OP. I really wish Ubi had separated the enemy health bar and enemy level hud options so I don't have to choose between not knowing whether I'll kill an enemy with an assassination or knowing the location of every damned enemy on the map I inadvertently tagged. If anyone knows a way to hide enemy level icons and the actual level number while retaining the enemy health bar, please let me know.
Not a fix, entirely. But you can know if you will kill an assassination target or not by the prompt it gives you "Press X to Assassinate" means it'll kill "Press X to Assassin Strike" means it'll damage. Or something along those lines anyway. There's a definite distinction in the prompt it gives you, even for the Hold X to Critical Assassinate it'll give the same distinction.
Question - in this image https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/2610/images/27/27-1549061232-2063802203.jpeg what are the three most left icons on the second row?
Nice mod. Took a while to figure out why it didnt work for a few tries.
Sadly it's kinda "All or nothing" with it since if I pick an icon to not be visible than even on the map I cant see it. removing certain icons seem to break the game but I havent tried it enough to really tell.
I think there two ICONs that you missed - the National treasure purple Icon and the white loot chest icon. Do you think you can "Add" these as a remove option?
Also, I dont see the Brackets that are used to tag objectives, but I have a feeling I wouldnt want them gone since the game will be unplayable without those.
I really like the effect of removing the Red mercs helmets icons - makes it way more interesting to try and avoid them - I know i am wanted by 3 bounty hunters but I have no clue where they are. its so tense! :) Sadly, you can see the distance indicator beneath the bounty hunters when they are between 70-35 meters away and that kinda ruins the tension, but its better than nothing.
Also, How do I remove the effects of this mod? simply unhook the EXE in the tool, right?
Hi. I removed a lot more icons included those you mention. No more prisoner icon, tamed animal, marked eagle prey, and shield icons if you play with enemy health bar HUD. Update coming soon.
To remove the effects just unhook it, yes.
I had another crash to desktop in Khytera island (same icon responsible), in a specific place in town. Don't know why this happen. I traveled to a lot of places exploring them deeply without any crash (Megaris, Phokis, Beotia, Mykonos, Delos, Argolis, Pephka).
Also, The Question mark of undiscovered location could be another icon to be removed.
I feel that one should not remove icons that are things he MUST find to progress because this might break the game rendering some missions or tasks impossible, but the ability to select only the textures you wish to remove means anyone can tweak the game to his liking. :) so that's awesome. I hope Vandhaar will implement a tweak to his mod that will allow icons to appear only at closer distance, which should allow the icons to appear on the map but not be constantly floating in the game world.

EDIT: Nevermind, I have to copy and paste the 2 files into the game folder thou...
