Install
Part 1: For Beginners.Advanced users check step 1 and skip to step 5. 1) Download the latest version of ReShade from here https://reshade.me/ 2) Run the ReShade setup and locate ACOdyssey.exe -(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey) 3) Select 'Direct3D 10+' 4) Select 'Yes' to download standard effects and click 'OK' 5) Download VanillaFX from Nexus 6) Place the unzipped file in the base game folder for ACO -(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey Part 2: For Beginners. Advanced users, select VanillaFX in-game 1) Start the game 2) Press the Home key to open ReShade and run the tutorial 3) Select 'Continue' then open the drop down menu and select VanillaFX 4) 'Continue' 5) 'Continue' 6) 'Finish' the tutorial 7) Go to ReShade settings and set the toggle key to your preference -Personally I prefer using Scroll Lock as my toggle key 8) Be sure to set the ReShade usage mode to Performance mode. 9) Close the ReShade configuration window Part 3: That's it! Play the game and enjoy my preset :D
Uninstall
Delete the following files and folder from your ACO folder. reshade-shaders (folder) dxgi.dll dxgi.ini dxgi.log VanillaFX.ini

Performance tests: 1920x1080 - average 82 fps @ Ultra settings 2560x1080 - average 74 fps @ Ultra settings 3840x2160 - average 40 fps @ Medium/High settings 1920x1080x200% - average 42 fps @ Medium/High settings (This is essentially 1080p scaled up to 4K) 2560x1080x200% - average 36 fps @ Medium/High settings (My prefered way of playing, also capped at 30 fps)
