You can go to this very specific location in Boston at any sequence to obtain Braddock Sword.

In assassin's creed 3, there are4 unique weapon models that Connor cannot obtain (Braddock sword, Wooden Flintlock-cutscene, kanen'to:kon tomahawk and Hickey's flintlock). After installing AlexD1945, E3 Flintlock mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/assassinscreediii/mods/7). go to this very-very specific location.
you will see in the corner of the street a little highlight weapon. pick it up.. and enjoy wielding the rarest weapon in AC history.

tips:
1. if u lost Braddock sword, go out to the menu and go back to the same spot.. fast travel wont spawn the weapon.
2. to be safe, install the "E3 flintlock" mod first to ensure 100% success rate
3. I tried this on the latest update of the original AC3 (before it was removed by ubi)
I have provided map and clue, walk slowly around that are (see my map image)
