I never use ReShade in games and also dont comment in here BUT.... Your work is fantastic, it made the game look the same but better, didnt change much to those blindly oversaturated mess ppl do over here, it removes that white hazy "fog" the screen has and adds a bit more color which is fantastic. If you did that to every classic AC that suffer from this (AC1-Rev and IV to some extent) I would love it rly, keep up with the great work!
A lot of ReShades can and do look nice, but the problem tends to be that they're so saturated that the game becomes straining to look at.
If I'm not wrong I think this might've happened with a couple games game releases as well, where the post-processing has been tuned down from the E3 demo. The most notable example I can think of is The Witcher 3, although that game did change rendering techniques during development which did also effect the art-style.

Hey, I dunno where it was possible for me to f*#@ this up, but the game won't launch with the mod files in the main folder. Something else I'm supposed to do? When I delete your files, the game works fine again, so it's definitely the mod.
Ok I'm dumb and this is my first time using Reshade. I picked these presets because you mention making the menu and map an easier to read beige. I'm visually impaired and the bright white of the menu is map literally is blinding for me. I cannot play the game the way it looks by default becuase of this. But my question is, since I'm new to Reshade, when I bring up the Reshade menu do I select all the .fx files in the list? Only the ones I want? I don't really understand how to use it yet. Thanks.

Hopefully someone someday manages to rip the textures off the Ezio Trilogy version of AC2 and port them to PC.

If you can share a screenshot of the menu I should be able to elaborate.
