Yeah I am not trying to mess with downloading and installing all this stuff to get this mod to work, although I hear it works great.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate people developing mods for this game that could have been something really special instead of just a low budget side project for the company. Awesome looking mod mate, thank you!

What are you talking about? The mod is piss easy to install.

The mod looks great on the screenshots! :D

One questions I have, though - is the mod compatible with Arx Extended (the only other Arx mod on Nexus)? As far as I know, it uses some models that were in the game's files, but unused in the retail version, so I have no idea if you upscaled them as well.

      worked for me.

      I went with:
      Libertatis
      Neuralis
      Extended
      Movable Inventories

Have in mind that this mod affects the loading times, not much but if you are a nitpicky smartass like me, it will grind your gears.

You suggested using reshade, which I want to use. Do you know of the game API?
DirectX9, DirectX10-12, OpenGL, or Vulkan? The mod runs smoothly but I want my lighting to be warmer
The only info I found was of the sound API. It did not specify the graphics API. Please let me know what it is,
    Thank you in advance

I've downloaded this three times, each time I tried opening the file I received the following message:

"X:\Arx Neuralis 0.9-4-0-9-1580635746.zip: Unexpected end of archive"

When right-clicking and selecting "Extract here" I receive a message saying the file is corrupt.

    Any suggestions?

Thank you for doing this and sharing it! Works BEAUTIFULLY. I'm repeatedly impressed as I play with Arx Neuralis installed. The new textures go very well with models, lending them a very organic, almost artistic quality. We're not worthy.

Arx Fatalis version 1.18 (Retail version not GoG) with Arx Liberatis version 1.12 on Win10. After installing the mod to the Arx Liberatis directory & overwriting the files, the in game UI is messed up. Elements of the main UI such as the health/mana indicators and the inventory are all pushed out to the sides or the bottom so that most of these items are literally off the game screen. I cannot upgrade my Arx Liberatis to see if this is the issue or not.

The zip file 0.9-4-0-1580635746 is corrupted.
I'm unable to extract all files. A few TGA files are corrupted.
I also tried downloading from moddb and had the same issue.
Could you please have a look and upload a fix if needed.
    Cheers

Zip File Error 0x80004005 When Extracting or Copying
The above error messages appear if the .zip file is compressed or encrypted using an algorithm which Windows doesn’t support. Windows supports Deflate, Deflate64 compression methods.

Use WinRar. The windows built in zip function will report this archive as corrupt.

After sorting out the zip issue I extracted all files to arx fatalis folder.
It didn't work. It doesn't affect the game.
So I tried extracting to arx libertatis. It did work but now all my saves disappeared.
    Cheers

How did you manage to fix the zip issue? I can't get any of the files to extract.

the other mod, the "arx extended" mod, here on nexus, says in its readme that a new game is required.perhaps this is also so with this mod too!

EDIT: Silly me, the answer was a Google search away...

For the record: use an external program to open the file (like winrar, winzip, 7zip etc). I used 7zip and it decompressed the file without problems.

Yes, this will break the link to your old savegames. They do not show up when loading a game. They are still there, but the game will no longer recognize them. I always make a backup of my stuff before trying major mods. But why would a texture pack break savegames? What is the point in trying out a texture pack if you cannot use existing savegames to explore & see the diffences?

I had the same issue with where the mod files were actually supposed to go. They had to be put into the Arx Liberatis sub folder and not the main game folder.

Why were neither of these issues addressed in the readme?

Just say thanks for the work. Not many people make mods, for an almost forgotten game. Problems during the passage did not notice.
    Is version 0.9 final?
