World war ship mod allows you to build 8 new ships from the submarine to the aircraft carrier, all about world war 1/2. To build them you need the new overdetailed advanced shipyard. Don't forget to lead your navy into war !!!

Hi everyone, I'm the creator of the world war ship mod for anno 1800. i finally decided to share the mod on nexus thanks to DaLexy advice .

Curently V1.0.0 and V1.0.1 need botanical dlc. the mod will work but don't build the aircraft carrier or your save will crash if you don't have the dlc.

Please do not publish the mod anywhere this is really IMPORTANT, all updates will be published here. you are allow to share it in a private context and for modders you can use all assets with no obligation to mention me but i would prefer.

 the mod is incompatible with increase harbour area(no crash but this will not change your area) because it's already using this features, to increase the value (90 is the harbor area value) you can use Imya:https://github.com/anno-mods/iModYourAnno and this will also allow you to balance the mod as you wish.

DESCRIPTION

World War Ship mod is a huge extention about war in the game : a completly new shipyard to construct these huge mastodons.

of course the main subject is about new ships (15 to 20 ships for the final mod, 8 for the first release) : battleship, submarine, aircraft carrier, destroyer, repair ship, cruiser, corvette, pre dreadnought. Those ship are not buildable by ai but in future updates they will.

the mod can be played without any dlc to make sure the maximum of Person can play it. I would recomend 16go ram minimum for modding but test it by yourself.

i made a huge attention to details with different skins, and sailors to make those ships come alive.

the mod use custom sounds for more imersion but to take benefice of it you need to manualy instal them, it's not really difficult: put the sound folder into: YourHardDrive:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Anno 1800\data and it's done.

changes:
- no botanica dlc needed anymore
- fix advanced shipyard triangle glitch with directX 12
- tweaks some settings limitations in Imya

Avaible languages: English, French

Known issues:
- Repair ship repair fx is not moving if the ship move.
- New sounds are not cutting if we reduce the game and master volume, only volume sfx work.
- Incompatibility with harbor area.
- Turret texture glitches on death animation.

FUTUR UPDATES

I have a lot of ideas for the future of course new ships, but also planes, war ornements (propaganda speakers for example, tanks...), monuments, new industry to build item like torpedoes, aerodromes, radar, improve existing ships as far as i can, shore canons and bunkers, translation. i will post picture and video update on youtube and patereon every month so you can follow the advancement.
