I've updated the manager to include the mod loader files in the package. If you experience issues/errors regarding API rate limiting please download the latest version and give it a try.
Please look at the Wiki before asking for any issues as it is updated as I keep it up to date there. Also as we are getting this question alot recently
we do not support cracked versions of anno 1800 even the mod loader so plz stop asking.
The latest build of AMM is found HERE! This version adds themes, multi language support, save profiles, and much more!
AFTER GAME UPDATE THIS PROGRAM DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. Don't waste your time wondering why this author hasn't updated mod or removed this mod from site yet.
actually the worst mod manager i have ever used. the settings page is blank. no way to enable it to to handle NMM links and no way to import a mod manually. clearly broken
after Game Update 17 from April 4th, 2023, mods are supported directly by the game and the ModLoader is no longer needed. To activate your mods again, you can open the installation directory Anno 1800/Bin/Win64 and delete the Python35.dll file, then rename the python35_ubi.dll to python35.dllThis will make the game run with your mods!
I was using AMM fine then pressed play and was told this mod loader isn't comp[atible with my version of the game and closed. Every time I click on the icon to open the mod manager it does nothing and doesn't open. I downloaded a fresh copy of the manager but soon as I choose a game path, the manager closes and never opens again.
I have the latest mod loader from xforce Release 0.9.4
Just happened to me. I was able to get a mod working (I'm only using Epilepsy Warning Replacer mod) just by having the two .dll files from the 0.9.4 loader. This was after the latest update 17 unless it was delayed for me.
Worked like a charm and then the next day out of the blue I get the 'not compatible' message and I have the #$*@#% stupid epilepsy warning followed by the Ubi logo.
I replaced the original python35.dll and then the game itself acknowledged mods and it half works now...
Anyone else having an issue where the manager isn't recognizing the game path? I've got everything where it needs to be, but the manager just won't accept that the files are where they need to be?
Usually setting the game path means choosing the folder in which the game's .exe is located. But in this case, I had to select the Anno 1800 folder: C:\Program Files (x86\Steam\steamapps\common\Anno 1800, not any of the subfolders.

Use iModYourAnno instead:
Releases · anno-mods/iModYourAnno (github.com)
Anno 1800/Bin/Win64
and delete thePython35.dll
file, then rename thepython35_ubi.dll
topython35.dll
This will make the game run with your mods! Thanks alot!

New to anno mods so my question is, do i need to remove current mods and mod loader then re-install after installing mod manager?
Many thanks
But now I get this error: "Program could not start (oxc000007b) click ok for the program to close."
I have tried like all of the updates, but the game do not launch with them. Can anyone HELP? I use steam btw.
