About this mod

Reduces Investor and Engineer income to make economy have meaning again.
Also tweaks all skyscrapers to meet this goal.

Permissions and credits
Rx's reduced income for investors & engineers and additional skyscraper tweaking.

This mod is designed to eliminate the feeling I always get once I hit engineers and definitely when I hit investors: my income is at 100k+ or even 200k+ and the value of money is gone. Economy as a whole can be forgotten for the rest of your game.
I changed that.



This mod contains two submods: Reduced income and skyscraper fixes
Reduced income:
Will reduce income of engineers by 30%, and investors by 60%.

Skyscraper fixes:
Will tweak skyscrapers to follow the same logic as described above.
Makes skyscrapers the place to go(or build) for vast amounts of influence should you need it.



Game settings to use to have this mod work as it was balanced:
Income: Low
Influence: Low
Skyscraper maintenance: High
*Setting these values differently will of course cause your income numbers to be much higher again!


!! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE  THE "HIGH LIFE" DLC !!
>The skyscraper fixes submod obviously won't do anything, you don't have skyscrapers
>And feel free to set influence to high instead to mitigate the loss of influence.


In the image provided you can see the effect this mod has on one of my saves with ~70k population of mostly investors/engineers and a couple of skyscrapers.
Obviously, newspaper/town hall items/trade union items and any other mods you may be running will change how income changes for you, but expect a factor of between 6 and 9-ish in reduction, making economy have a value again!



I like a balanced game that doesn't feel "won" the second I hit Investors, you too?
